I have listened to this 4 times tonight. Wynton drops so many gems. Love his voice, he is sampled so much on white labels 🤍 Maybe it’s just the way it’s edited, but the host missed so many opportunities to really expand the conversation. Instead he pivots to some random question. Thankfully, the host does not detract from Wynton’s genius responses. This is pure gold 🏅

say what now? "could be racism could be anything ...the degree to which you're willing to fight against it really, is based on your ability to accept the pain to fight against it. " love you sooo much Maestro . after pandemic, may I please visit you as a guest in your beautiful home? :) xo 11.14.2020

my relative association with the black community was rather incidental, meaning, it was spontaneous and based on personal value system. For example, right after telling every institution in the country and to my surprise, across the world to go away and fear me, I then established the paradigm for interaction on KZfaq.. I mean, how do you start a friendship with a gazzilion random strangers? you talk about the movies or the music that you like, your favorite artist or celebrity but in the midst of it all, I picked up prominent opposition in the form of undermining my likeness of black talent or the opposition infered a negative connotation with the association.. and this was at a time when i couldn't even tell who is saying what.. but i knew a few things, one that I own my devices and accounts, and it was me versus the world, so this whole thing was my digital representation, secondly, i knew this was how the public determined my character traits and finally, i knew myself and I was confident..i believed in my abilities. Needless to say, I ignore the rude objection and deliberately associated with all of the black personalities that i liked or admired.. from hip hop, to muhammed Ali.. well i was to be the black guy in almost everything, because I found the feed back quite rude, something which I would never accept in my professional frame of mind and also, I really wanted to promote cultural relativism, at every opportunity because mass protest and societal conflict, based on racial inequality had become almost a predictable trend in america, like i could expect it following summer.. as we all saw, unfortunately.. I thought I should shed atleast some light on the topic, since it has been the foundational aspect of self representatiom online. As a consequence, a lot of black girls started assuming that i would like them simply because they are black, and this was the otherside of the argument which was stupidity.. people thought i could be made into a mail order groom? like really...? what century is this again?

it is like being caught up in the midst of people who are brutal, much more than you could be.. like i am struggling to make ends meet here for the better part of the year, but they are gratifying it by initials like.. ME or AJ.. that is clear cut ignorance beyond belief.. you get all kinds of feels in your gut

Why does David Rubenstein come across as stiff and robotic? There doesn't seem to be much feeling in him.

have you heard of this idea in blues; like having to sell your soul to the devil in order to master the art form? 🙂
