How wonderful it must be to be David Rubenstein to command the respect of these great leaders. To secure these interviews with these business and political superstars is extremely difficult. David Rubenstein is one of the few people that these leaders respect and are willing to speak to .

angel investors are venture capitalists or not?

It's really a question of definition. Venture capitalists usually invest through a fund and have the structure that comes with it while angel investors do not so I would tend to say no. But they essentially do the same thing at different scale.
