If I were Bella, I would be very disappointed. You had a good night with your husband and in the morning you feel in the clouds, but your husband comes and it ruins your mood. Plot twist that explains the entire Twilight franchise with any logic = Edward knowingly plotted every moment in Bella's experience of their relationship all along. He was grooming her from their very first biology class to impregnate her and turn her after the baby's birth. And Carlyle used the same strategy to find his own wife, and Alice's and Rosalie's mates from the mortal world. Carlyle mentored Edward through the mate selection, impregnation (with Bella) and conversion to his peculiar little coven all along! Alice prophesied and assisted him throughout. And maybe... Jasper even influenced Bella to move to Forks for Edward by sneaking around her home before the story began! Oooh!
