All the way back in 1999, two of the biggest giants of the game in Barcelona and Brazil played a once in a lifetime match in celebration of Barcelona's 100 years of existence.
The fans in attendance were lucky to see a host of stars and superstars as the likes of Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique, Luis Figo, and Patrick Kluivert started for Barcelona on the day while Brazil's team featured Ronaldo, Romario, Rivaldo (who chose to play for Brazil over Barcelona), and Roberto Carlos.
Ronaldo opened the scoring for Brazil before Luis Enrique equalised for the home side a few minutes later. Rivaldo then scored with a ridiculous shot from outside the box to give Brazil a 2-1 lead going into the second half. Barcelona dominated for most of the second half and finally equalised after Rogerio Ceni made his second mistake of the match and gave Cocu an open net to finish into. Both sides had chances to win the game before full time but the entertaining game ended with the scores level at 2-2.
The match was ultimately just a friendly - albeit a strange one between a club and a national team - but it gave fans an opportunity of a lifetime to witness some of the game's greatest players on the same pitch at the same time.
