I've watched all of the "A" sessions. Great job! The only critique is that you might check the levels on the mics. When I have the volume up high enough to hear all of Max's comments, Seb gets a bit loud.

@@ianjaggi540 who says that i compare him to his 96kg self? He used to be stronger even when he was an 85. No disrespect to the other lifters but tian would eat his opponents alive if he was as strong as his younger self. And despite the fact that my heart wants him to win,i dont think he has as big of a chance as karlos or antonino(i havent seen him so i am not sure whether he is going to compete or not)

FIlipino fan here, can you pls do a hidilyn diaz breakdown? You mentioned shes just too strong in the C&J, id love to see her technique. Im currently focusing on olympic lifts after she really motivated me after her olympic gold, unfortunately fitness gyms and the trainers therein arent too big on the olympic lifts so its been tough for me to get some guidance and help!

I get his point but the other guys are just too small to compete with Lasha, Gor is about 5’10 and should honestly probably be a 109 athlete , not a super at his height , he’s doing brilliant to be as close as he is Lasha is just a freak, 6’5/180kg BW, he’s as big as elite Strongmen, he was 183kg at worlds last year, that’s not far off peak Eddie Hall, Thor, Shaw size and still fast enough to get under the bar

Slight pressout/instability on his right shoulder. He and his coach demand perfection, and that 215 was short of it. You can see it in Lasha's face after the lift when he shakes his head no. The feeling of the lift to him was all wrong and he knew it.

i noticed something between olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. why is it olympic weightlifter never experienced quad tear even though they train 6 times a week they still never expereinced quad tears were as powerlifter they squat usually once a week they experienced quad tears. any reasons why?
@bmstylee
@bmstylee Жыл бұрын
Difference in weight I would guess. Especially at the shw class. Take Ray Williams for example. The guy can squat Lasha's total. Add in that the deadlift is also a lower body dominant lift you get a lot of wear. At elite levels for the men's supers we are talking totals of 1000kg+ for all 3 lifts. Just the thoughts of one meathead. Even in lower classes the weights at the top levels of the IPF are really heavy.
@dalehall-bowden1083
@dalehall-bowden1083 Жыл бұрын
Olympic lifters routinely squat with a higher range of motion and catch bounces from early in their training. Their quad muscles and tendons are trained quite differently.
@toximan2008
@toximan2008 Жыл бұрын
The weights are comparatively lighter in weightlifting. Yes, a 220kg clean & jerk is very impressive, but it's not going to feel like a 400-450kg squat. The powerlifts also require far longer time under tension. A 1RM squat can take 10 or more seconds to complete. A 1RM clean & jerk is only seconds.
