I love hearing you talk about Fragile Plastic Gen Beyblades especially when you said they'll get "murdered" by Whale Crusher. Just because of that, I'm heavily looking forward to when you decide to do a throwback thursday on Uriel and Uriel 2.

Seaborg 2 was one of my big favorites growing up. Always thought it was a beautiful looking bey. I also LOVE Defense Grip Base. It grips well, is super forgiving and easy to flower.

Whale Crusher was very sick...for right spin. (Left spin's got G Upper) But then there's Mirage Goddess, the Attack Ring from Takara's Venus or Hasbro's kinda awful adaptation "Venusian G". While it doesn't do upper attack, it's strictly about Smash...and does it extremely well. Also, it's a whole gram heavier than Whale Crusher (8g vs. 7g), so that's a little more weight and power. Whatever Blade Base you could use Seaborg 2 on and lay the SmackDown, you can do so even more with Venus. Weight Disk is where things vary wildly. Takara's Venus is strangely classified as a Stamina type, but has a Ten Heavy WD (something typically more defensive). Hasbro's Venusian G is an Attack type, because except for a slightly different Engine Gear, it's basically Dragoon G from the WD down, so she's got a Ten Wide (typically seen with *mainline* Attack & Stamina - Wide Defense & Wide Survivor aren't as easy to get). Spin Gear: Venus has a Neo Right SG w/Metal Weight, which you should immediately upgrade to Heavy Metal if you have it (or any Magnecore if you don't, MGs are a gram heavier than MWs). Venusian G has a Hasbro exclusive Left EG Customize Version - Takara never did a Left one, only a Right one, and that was after Left EG Turbo and Reverse EG - with a Metal Semiflat CEW. (Dragoon G had a Left EG that had a Metal Semiflat tip, Metal Flat didn't happen until Gaia Dragoon G's Right EG Metal Flat, and Dragoon GT was the only Engine Gear System form of Dragoon to get a rubber tip with the CEW Grip Flat) Blade Base: Venus has a simple SG Sharp. Venusian G has the First Clutch Base - Dragoon G. I was NOT kidding when I said that it's literally Dragoon G from the WD down. 😆😆😆😆😆😆 There's some funny stuff, though. Venus came in Random Booster 12, the final RB for the Plastic Era before the Heavy Metal System. She was one of the main prizes alongside Apollon & Poseidon, with a couple other things. Anywho, each of them came in three colors: their own and each other's. (pink, yellow, & blue that looks more teal to me) Hasbro kept them to a single color, but went with more anime accurate colors: red for Venusian, orange for Appolon (which is apparently still wrong), teal for Ocean Wrath. That said, you CAN use Hasbro parts to make Takara accurate versions for Venusian & Appolon to be like Venus & Apollon (I don't know if Hasbro did any SG Semiflat Base or Neo Right SG in teal, so no Poseidon style for Ocean Wrath G, it seems). Check it... Venusian: Red Mirage Goddess (Venusian G), Ten Heavy (literally anything, let's say Draciel V2), Red Neo Right SG (Vortex Ape)+MW Core (Dragoon V), Red SG Sharp Base (BBA Championship Series Master Draciel) Appolon: Orange Corona Saber (Appolon G), Ten Wide (let's say Cyber Dragoon), Orange Neo Right SG (Burning Kerberos)+MW Core (Dragoon V), Orange SG Flat Base (Kid Dragoon)

Ah the original seaborg my first beyblade and I remember that I had no issues with breaking but the tip is now in the based and flat can never use the second one for some reason as I find the second tip doesn't really work well maybe it's just me. And the original is attack while the second is a defense type which I prefer it as an attack type
