Well, Superman is THE superhero and Batman is the most popular. Really the biggest Marvel star is Spider-Man who's still behind these two.

Still, lots of kids relate more to Spidey than Supes or Batman.

Alejandro Castro I never really found Batman relatable. Maybe Elon Musk could relate to him, but most people wouldn't. Superman and Spider-Man are in my opinion much more relatable, but since Batman (debatably, of course) the most interesting and has some of the most interesting villains and is overall different, people like him in a different way. Superman and Spider-Man are a combination of what people are and what they want to be (in my opinion what they could be if they had the guts: the heroes who affect minds of millions or even billions of people), only sociopaths, psychopaths and people with disorders like Asperger or autism could identify with Batman, I think he's popular because he's so interesting to watch.
