I like your videos. This one gives the audience a great opportunity to view and examine the design closely, even more so then one usually has an opportunity to do in an AD. One minor comment, the model you feature has a titanium caseback not stainless steel, which makes it even more compelling as a modern heritage dive watch.

I picked one of these up a few months ago. It's wonderfully designed and probably the best looking bronze diver out there. The alloy almost looks like rose gold. I just wish they either made it in 40mm since the lug-to-lug is so long, or they made the lugs curve down more dramatically to hug the wrist better. My wrist is 7.5" so it looks fine, but it is a very long watch indeed. And the lume is ridiculous for a 300m diver. Imagine if they lumed all of the hour and minute markers on both the dial and bezel. If Zelos can do it then Longines can as well. On another note, the polished fluted crowns really are a sight to behold. They have an incredible sparkle to them that I didn't know bronze was capable of. Really cool watch.

I just fell in love with this watch. My fav version is steel with black dial thought, ideally no date version, which is lately rising in price. So “date” version with a bracelet is one that I am most likely going for next year. Bronze version is so beautiful itself. Great video.

Such a cool heritage model. I'm not a fan of bronze or green, but I love this. I kinda wish Longines would make a modern version - smaller, with proper lume, modernised dial, but with the great case design. Compressors make great everyday watches - not so DIVE!!! - but very practical and versatile.

Just got this one at a good price, and on a reddish-brown alligator strap, it is quite the piece of eye candy. The titanium case back doesn't entirely shield your skin from the bronze, so you will experience some "green wrist" syndrome around the lugs if you make it your daily wearer - which you'll probably want to do! It remains to be seen if this continues to happen after the bronze patina is established; I might apply a layer of clear nail polish to those surfaces if it becomes an issue.

I would love to see you review the Longines Spirit Chronograph now that you carry this brand, as it seems to offer amazing specs for the price point. Would be great if you could also show how the thickness looks in a few scenario's, obviously it can't be thin being a column wheel chronograph but I am curious to see how bulky this looks on the wrist. Thanks, Mark

I love this watch, great macro video Teddy shows us all we need to see about this watch. I'm a huge fan of the super compressor style and Longines as you would expect have done this very well. Does the lug to lug bother me? No, I'd go to an AD and try it on as the drape of the lug around the wrist should be factored into just as the lug to lug measurement. I'm still on the fence for bronze so not quite ready to pop this onto the top of my watch list just yet. Thanks again Teddy.

Love longines I just got a captain Cook high tech ceramic it's was between this bronze legend diver and the Rado .but I tell what I'ma have to get this one too. The bronze,the elegant design it's just an amazing looking watch. 9 out of 10. Only bad thing is the lume isn't good. Other then that perfect watch

Tried on a Legend Diver a number of years ago. It was a watch I wanted...until I tried it on. The lugs need to be shorter, and even a 40mm dial. Sub 50 lug to lug, 40mm dial and they could take my money.

With history and the brand heritage of Longines. I think it’s time to bring the brand out of the bottom. I understand the fact that it was needed business strategy to save many companies, Omega, Longines, Breguet, and others. But I just think it’s time to come up with Omega moving up there is room for Longines. To possibly rival Tudor. Open to thoughts?

I don’t think Omega has ever needed a rescue-it holds its own. Longines (and Hamilton) has deep pockets with Swatch as it’s parent-much like Indian motorcycles and its parent, Polaris. Their chronograph and pilot watches have been prestigious in quality with a production price point that attracts a larger market than other makers with in-house time keepers. You can’t justify purchasing a watch in the above categories from another maker than Longines. Excellent, beautiful time pieces.

@@the_9ent pull the trigger mate. Never been happier with a watch. Its THE universal watch. Fucking blingy enough to pull it off on any meeting or with a tuxedo, and still good for shoveling soil in the backyard, without being a pretentious idiot doing work in a rolex or omega. Again, never been happier with a watch.

Try 36mm, it wears bigger anyway because of long lugs. I have one myself and I am quite satisfied with it :)

Longines, please shorten the lugs on your watches, remove the date windows from Heritage models and provide good watch straps instead of fancy boxes that no one needs. Then your watches will be perfect !
