As a white male veteran, I couldn’t agree more. It’s an incentive and a benefit for serving. It’s well known that we don’t get paid much in the military so the military makes up for it with a little extra bonus. The GI Bill doesn’t cover all of college costs but it helps. The VA Loan isn’t an interest free loan or even a loan from the military or government, it only backs our credibility when applying for a loan at the bank. Even re-enlistment bonuses aren’t hand out’s because it’s money added to ur regular pay for an incentive for a new contract of service and isn’t even paid in full until ur contract time is completed. We don’t get overtime pay for pulling extra duty or for being out on field exercises for weeks or months at a time.

He was wounded, received a Purple Heart (which I have) and he received Battle stars for seeing action in those islands. When he returned to the good ole USA, he was informed that the GI bill homeowner's program excluded those not of Caucasian ancestry. So much for compensation.

A couple years ago, Rutgers established a policy that non whhytes are not to be judged/ graded by professors by the same standard as whites in regard to their spelling, sentence structure, grammar, etc. This is their policy in writing. Seattle began their, "math is racist," campaign because non whhytes couldnt pass the dumbed down proficiency tests. The largest school districts in CA no longer give Ds and Fs to non whhyte students. Thete are thousands and thousands of Asians who take 6 years to complete 2 year community college and of course, more funding is required for them. When I say non whhyte in these examples, this includes nor just blaqs, but hispanics, Asians, all non whhytes. CA used to have a great school system, both K through 12 and the many universities and community colleges here. We are almost at the bottom now. Only 21% of the students in CA public schools are whhyte. People are pouring out of CA. Only 35% of the state is whhyte and dropping. CA is finished.
