@@jimbo_1312 Watch the Chiefs game from last year with Zach Wilson. He has shown some flashes. I think a big part of his problem last year and his whole NFL career so far with the Jets is he’s received little to no QB coaching. I’m not trying to make excuses for his play, but the Jets have not been exactly known for developing quarterbacks. No QB coaching along with one of the, if not the worst offensive line in football last year contributed to him being that bad. I think he can have a chance with Payton coaching him up. Not saying he’s going to be good, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being decent and proving people wrong. Maturity, a good QB coach, and a better O-line/team around him are things he has this year that he didn’t earlier in his career.

You can take any player and show enough lowlights to make him look like a bust but he also had some amazing plays and more then a few good games. He had the worst offensive line in all of his 3 years in New York. Remember he is only 24 and as of right now he is the most talented player currently on the Broncos offense!

As a Broncos fan tonight will be what decides what the plan for him is in Denver. The Broncos could take a QB at some point or if they don't then it's a three way training camp battle. I think he went to horrible situation with the Jets, if he is the starter he will have the best o-line of his career and the best coaching staff he's ever had. I don't know why but I wouldn't be mad if he was the starter week one, probably because he has some talent if you look at some of his throws. Sean Payton has a habit of fixing project QBs, going back to his time with the Giants.

Jets never gave him an offensive line to work behind. Aaron couldn't take more then 3 snaps behind what had to play behind. It's to early to tell as far as I can see. Don't know the Broncos line at all has to be better then what the Jets put there 2023.

yall seem to forget that we came back from being 0-5 last season. we went from being the worst team in the league for the past 6-7 years prior to having Sean to having a somewhat decent record. Sean single handedly turned the broncos record around in ONE SEASON, for yall to be so doubtful and hateful you make me think you're a raiders fan lmao. which in that case it makes sense on why you're such a little b*tch. Calling Zach Wilson's last year in college a break out year is severely out of context. Zach Wilson looked good that year because he was facing absolute garbage competition during the COVID season. Wilson didn't get any better, the quality of defenses he played were just a lot worse.

Someone didn’t watch him then. Yes the competition was bad, but Zach went off and improved immensely. Also it was literally a covid year so everyone except a select few programs really actually faced competition. Zach was overdrafted, but it wasn’t because he didn’t have talent, but we just weren’t able to see the flaws.

Zach never had a reliable offensive line during his time with the Jets and he had some very bad coaching to boot. He definitely has the physical talents, it's the strategy of the game-better decision making that he needed some help with. Also his self confidence was destroyed in NY when he was blamed for everything when in reality there was plenty of blame to go around in the Jets. Hopefully Sean Payton can help him with his reads and decision making. Self confidence will be built up once he starts winning.

Picks from the 6th round on are all just darts. Also the Jets are still paying half his salary. So the Broncos got a prospect that may or may not pan out as a long term back up for under 3 million with starter experience. The Broncos got "FLEECED" by the Seahawks though.
