The Denver Nuggets Scare Me

The Denver Nuggets vs Boston Celtics last night was electric, and we got to see a potential NBA Finals preview between two of the best teams in the entire NBA. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are of course an unstoppable force, but we got to see the full breadth of the Denver Nuggets when firing on cylinders, with guys like Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson making major contributions.
The Celtics didn't play bad, but sometimes when you're a team like the Denver Nuggets, there's only so much you can do. We saw all the different looks that the Nuggets can throw at you, and even against the Boston Celtics defense, that's a tall order.

This is scary. Everyone in the media talking about Cs having only 29% from 3 and no one talking about Denvers 19% with open looks like this. They wont shoot this bad again.

I think last time watson couldn't play because they arealdy got a high flying 3&D Jeff Green already, Braun was in the rotation because of his IQ and mentality, Watson will be big this playoffs

I absolutely LOVE watching Watson develop!!! Such a high energy, athletic, and talented young player! For all the naysayers saying Jokic is boring to watch, here's your spark (as well as Murray, AG, MPJ, etc). This is the funnest team I may have ever watched in the NBA and Watson will make them even more explosive in the next couple years!

The Nuggets offense is too good. Nikola Jokic’s IQ and skill set compared with the actions that the Nuggets run and the cutting plus Jamal Murray’s shot creation is great to watch.

I don't see Celtics or anyone else beating this Nuggets team in finals. Jokic, Murray and Watson is just too smart,skilled and strong.It's actually crazy to watch how slow and seemingly effortlessly Jokic plays and then suddenly another triple double.He is in the league of his own

Denver is clinical, specially in the clutch. Offense predicated on screening, cutting, and off-ball actions resulting in high efficiency attempts. And even if the defense stunts the 1st action, they just seamlessly flow into the Jokic-Murray 2-man game or straight up Jokic in the post. Literally pick your poison.

Great video. It shows how masterful Denver's offense is, but at the same time you see how much a team has to on the top of its game the whole time to beat the Celtic's deffense

Boston is made up of guys who aren’t able to be true number 1 options, and it means they’ll lose to the teams like the Heat, Cavs (with LeBron) and Nuggets that have guys like Butler, LeBron and both Jokić and Murray who are capable and willing to take over a game.

Funniest thing, is Denver is still a team home growing their roster development from the bottom up. The Nuggets are probably 2, maybe 3, years away from their peak output. Gonna be an extremely fun dynasty run to watch, especially as a lifelong Nuggies fan!!!!

It's funny, the Nuggets offense hasn't been special this yr (10th in Off Rtg) yet as long as they're healthy, I'm most confident in them come playoff time (it helps that they literally rolled through the playoffs last yr)

Jokic is really that good. Multiple teams have teamed up "superstars" Who are highly overrated washed players who barely play any defense or move offball, but jokic stands heads and shoulders above all of them as the lone allstar in his team spanking every other "superteam"

The jrue holiday scheme aint do shii. they cooked him in the switch and they immediately went back to KP. yes the previous possesions, they forced jrue to switch off him, but they inly did that cos cooking JT and JB was wayy easier than cooking Jrue. but jokic still cooked jrue when they didnt allow the switch.

For people who don't understand some terminologies. Weak Side - Where the defenders are smaller or the offence are too good for their defenders. Blind Pig - An offence action combating the perimeter denial, basically the action is focused on the fat player to make a move.

No, the "weak side" is the side of the court away from the low post player. It's the exact same as the "weak side" on a football configuration is the side without the tight end. The "strong side" has more players, the weak side has less players.

They didn't pick apart anything. Boston shot the ball terribly. JB missed like 8 ft's, which is the only reason Denver won. Jamal made horrible decisions late in the 4th.
