Gee that's a very decent size flock of sheep in Switzerland. Nothing compared 2 Australia or NZ but all the same big 4 ur part of the World. ❤ these Valais. Have only just come across them this past week . Thx 4 sharing the footage & the scenery is beautifull 😀😀👌

The village is called Rosswald (Canton Wallis/Valais). Every year at the beginning of summer, this flock of sheep indigenous are taken up the mountains to graze for the summer. In September they are rounded up and brought back down to the valley for winter. Tourist information here: www.brig-simplon.ch/en/index.php

@@DiKambingcorn It’s still like winter here so I think the the sheep will be taken up later maybe in a few weeks. They will then be wondering around high up at 3,000 metres until they are rounded up and brought back down to the valley end of September. This is what I filmed.
