I think some people who do models around me have said to me that the models are need to be "poker face" so people would focus more to the product they would introduce, in this case is a clothes. The outfit they wear should get more attention rather than their face even though of course the models are stunning and beautiful, but it is a fashion show. So they can't just decided to do what they like, like how to pose-smile-walk, there are rules for it. This is fashion show so they need to focus on the clothes, if it was a beauty pageant then the person should do According so

They deserve better dresses, completely visionless, in horrible taste, showing off the most gaudy and overloaded dresses in a religious dictatorship while not even introducing one memorable silhouette. Paying a well known designer to be at your show while not having designed anything, this was straight up fashion for people who get battered by their husband and honor kill their gay children.

Maybe, or maybe the skirts of some dresses are so big and uncomfortable that they can't walk well and can't even hide it. The dresses are incredible but if someone who works as a model can't walk well, I don't want to imagine the rest. And those kinds of problems with uncomfortable clothes have happened even with better models.

A lot of people in the comments hating on the models ... have we considered that the designer goons didn't take actual human beings into consideration in their designs at all and made really uncomfortable dresses? These poor girls all look like they're struggling to keep their dresses from slipping off and you can even see the third girl's veil got caught. 😭 Of course they're beautiful dresses, but I am reminded of that saying, "You can tell when a male designer loves women versus hates them / doesn't see them as real people."

I miss the models from 90s. They each had their own walks, all diff from one another & almost all had different facial expressions. Even when walking for BIG designers. They knew which “walk” & facial expressions to use with which designer and outfit.

The models aren’t frowning they’re expressionless because the designers intended to be that way. They wanted to show case the design so everything else, including the models is plain and without expression. Depending on the designer there will be different moods. Some want the models to smile and walk at a fast pace. While others want a slow walk with little expression

The model’s expression was not it. Those were definitely 100000/10 dresses, but I was definitely put off by the expression and walk of the model. Of course I don’t know what had happened prior to that or if the dresses were hard or uncomfortable (I can understand somewhat for the heavier ones) but even the more comfortable dresssed models didn’t seem right. From my understanding of professional models, they are basically clothing racks for the dresses, basically they are to show off the dresses and their charm. Of course they shouldn’t be overwhelming the design or be overwhelmed by them. These ladies are honestly beautiful, but wish the walk was lot more professional. Then again there could have some kind of emergency they might’ve but idk. Ik like a ton of models and super models who are professional to the point that they’d be missing one heel but walk like they had both shoes, etc…. So yeah, definitely wanna know what happened 🙃

they are supposed to not do anything special as to not get the attention away from the star of the show, being the dresses. They had one job and they did it well. Doing your job perfectly means it is professional. Like you said, they are meant to be like clothing racks. They did their jobs.
