Alongside Tormented Demons - oldschool style and a brand new drop table giving us new best in slot demon slaying weapons like the Emberlight. I'm with you bro... Got my Synapse on Iron for emberlight for future duke grind etc and then noped out of TDS... hopefully when I return can find a world in 2 seconds and drops be better than what they were... got loads of other goals to go for than to grind these out with the crowds of people

It’s worth mentioning that demon bane spells on the korend spell book also remove the shield.

@@jacoblevan9577that’s an intended mechanic that’s why there’s 1 in some areas and up to 3 in others. They’re made to fight multiple at the same time but it’s super buggy so it’s harder than it should be and not worth it to do atm. It’s just so busy that you’re forced to use the multi areas a lot when most people don’t want to

You tried legends quest's holy water on the shield yet? That worked back in 2009 along with the darklight spec.

Tried it the other day and didn't do anything to drop the shield. Also tried it when shield was down too.

FYI: styles dont matter when doing specs. The wiki lists the type of style that the spec uses. For example, Osmuten's Fang always rolls against Stab, AGS always slash and so on

that used to be true. new weapons roll on their styles now. old weapons work the old way.

@@RiceCup This is actually interesting. According to the wiki, weapons roll with the style accuracy you are using against the target's specific style For example, SaraGS rolls on whatever you select, but against the slash defense of the target. I thought it all came from a specific stat disregarding the one selected Thanks for the clarification

Funny story. I just finished quest two days ago. Had greater demon task beforehand. 11kc synapse (was going to log after 10kc quest was long and tiresome) dopamine woke me right up! 28kc burning claw... I can't make this shit up, easiest 78m I have ever seen. 😂🔥💥

On RS3 using holy water or darklight on a tormented demon drops their fire shield. Might be worth checking the holy water method and see if it applies to OSRS

Do you think making emberlight with your first synapse was the best choice for killing more tormented demons, since Arclight was already so good compared to mage/range alternatives?

ofc i have a t bow and shadow so it's all the same to me really which 1 i get first. just emberlight is way more useful for other things. for ex. if you range or mage sucks, then u can the bow first and camp for a 2nd synpase, thats fine too. just depends

Shield goes down on its own after it uses it's special attack. Slow crush and ranged weapons get a massive max hit increase and attack speed buff. SO bring swaps

Can you still swap to a melee weapon whilst your ranged weapon is in the air to force swap the prayer to melee so you can use one style (when it's going to swap at 150hp lost?)

Skill-wise, how do these compare against Demonic Gorillas? I can handle those, but really struggled with DT2 bosses even in Leagues...

they are more chill, they switch pray after 150 damage and after about 36 sec they will change attack style.. the switch in pray is same as for gorillas. summary; more time to breath 😂

heads up. I believe jagex is going to release an update that allows ironmen to "use" items on the clog they obtained before the clog came out to add it to the clog

how different is corp now with emberlight and elder maul?

the main thing is elder maul landing your initials specs on avg faster than hammers, but the emberlight doesn't change a whole lot for corp as it's not a demon, it's still only 5% reduction same as arclight and its defence is already low at that point. so maul saves a lot of time but ember might save 1 hit, so not much.

nah u get lotta guaranteed hits and the bonus dmg doesnt apply to spec effect

Embrelight spec reduces dukes def by 40 so surely on average it could actually be better then using the bgs?

dukes weird its not like a normal demon so its not confirmed if spec even works on it. demonbame for ex. dont do full bonus dmg to it
