A group of documentary film makers receive a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of serial killer H.H. Holmes ‘Murder Castle’. But on arrival they soon discover they’re being watched, and even manipulated, and suddenly there is much more at stake than just their ratings..

It takes me back to my childhood playing horror games with my brother. We both love Hollow's channel. He's just a normal, everyday dude and doesn't seem to have some over the top streaming personality. It's relaxing and nostalgic to watch.

@@quorented2849 it’s not the Cecil hotel. It’s based of the h.h.holms murder castle which got destroyed a long time ago. He got different people to build each room so they didn’t catch onto what he was doing

Exactly! So sick of sitting for a few min with a creator.. only to find their laugh is completely fabricated.. their jump scare is obvious and ridiculous and the personality fake to go with it.. this man is just one of us doing what we do.. and making a damn good time of it I might add. I wouldn't normally play these games, too slow for me, but it's sure fun to watch !

I first heard about Howard Holmes story on Mr.Ballen’s podcast. I believe the developers named this game based off Holmes’ quote: “I was born with the devil in me, I could not help the fact that I was a murderer, no more than the poet can help the inspiration to sing.”

I love this game. The fact that I notice things I wouldn't notice if I played myself is beyond me. Love when Hollow plays a game and screams as the jump scares continue to come with some warning before hand. And last but not least, the house is the hotel in every sense.

It's weird that all the check-out dates for all the clients have same hand writing or look similar. While the check-in dates are all different cause it's the victims own handwriting. The fact the game even pay attention to small details like that is pretty nice.

1:36:10 Did anybody notice the level of detail with the dates, i.e the check out dates are written differently to the check in dates which shows someone else wrote the check out dates, very clever work from the developers. Loving the whole series so far especially house of ashes.

More like fantasy, Holmes killed 9 people not 200 ,the other 27 he claimed to have killed where found to be alive and he didn't have a hotel he had a couple of store fronts and some rooms for rent
