The spot for consistency for the "Hack" in the first big room with three waves is the control panel attached to the cylinder thing, not the cylinder itself. It took me a long time to realize this 😂

matchmaking has been a massive failure. I haven't gotten platinum. I got 74447 with 2 randoms and one guy killed the boss before clearing out ads

Matchmaking with randos didn't get me anywhere near platinum. All they ever did was just speed through and melt everything, especially the boss. Is it the heavy weapon that generates more points or ability kills? Using my super profusely (Warlock strand super) only got me 209k at the end. I did the emote + finisher on some champs, but super killed others.

I don't know man the three fireteams I was matched up with all seemed to think the way to finish the strike was to play little johnny run ahead and pass all the champions with out killing them and get the lowest score possible

@@themetalpig7613 to be fair there's nowhere obvious that points out how to score points with finishers and emotes. if players don't read reddit or watch youtube, there's really nothing obvious to point out all the little things you have to do to score lots of points. without that, most will assume to just run it like normal which means finishing it as fast as possible to get bounty progress

The amount of people that just outright refuse to kill ads or champions is insane, i barely scraped by to 180k with randoms just to at least get my platinum rewards

I swear most lvl 10 and 11 run forward trying to kill them quickly just to stuff you over just to rush it all… I seem to get to emote and finish every one when I’m matched with the lower lvl players

Trying to get platinum with blueberries is hell on this strike. Couldn't even get gold after 3 tries. Still way too many brain-dead or ignorant players in this game that melt champs and I blame Bungie and their poor New Light experience.

Scoring system is trash. And never explained ever. You play efficiently and it doesnt give you score you have to play like an fps management game and it works. A little painful actually. New lights will never get it. Just run solo. It's way more fun if you're actually good. Also I've been top 10% both weeks. Solo strikes are the only reason I dig guardian games.

I’ve gotten so close twice. Nobody seems to use finishers and just blow through this strike. The most recent attempt we were 2k shy. If we didn’t kill Sepiks at that point and let another wave of enemies spawn we would have hit it. It’s unbelievable how daft people are

@@Jrobb1999 I finally got it. I just stunned champs then ignored them, didn't help on dps and instead went for heavy weapon kill streaks with my retrofit escapade. Must've got lucky with the others finishing the champs properly.

@@themetalpig7613 I started to focus on individual spree medals last night too, which I think is why we got as close as we did. Heavy kill sprees and strand sprees seem to work really well

Every time I get ready for my "routine" to get the champ down to be finished then do my emote - some guy - and sometimes level 11! - shoots the champ... it is not that difficult for crying out loud! emote, finish get 3 medals and massive points....

Dude I got 98k base score and cause the multiplier sucks I only ended with 155k. Only way to do it is solo.

@@michelleblanc7864 Trinity Ghoul is almost essential to get massive score due to the extremely frequent multikills medals. That does half the job for you, emote finishing does the other half. Don't know if you know and don't mean to be patronising but orange bars can also be emote finished just like champs and yellow bars and there are a hell of a lot of orange bars in this strike. In the final room there are honestly a ridiculous amount of orange bars to be emote finished (the grenade launcher dregs, captains, even the shielded servitors during the bosses immune phases. Champs give more points (just under 7k each) than orange bars (about 3.5k each but there are far more orange bars so that adds up very fast. Use a reaper mod on class item and spam class ability and arc siphon to generate maximum orbs and thats pretty much all I did. Hope that helps.

hey man, not a video expert but the video quality doesnT look like 4k even if it is., very corny. Personal experience it may be the encoding or what it is called
