Sie ist die einzige Rockckokirche, die - ich glaube sogar in ganz Deutschland - zum Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO erklärt wurde. (Bin zwar kein Fan dieser Organisation…), aber die Kirche ist wirklich wunderschön. Da kommen Touristen aus der ganzen Welt hin, aber am Dienstag waren wirklich nur noch 2 Leute in der Hl. Messe, aber immerhin. Mittwochs wird immer die Hl. Messe am Gnadenaltar, in dem der Gegeißelte Heiland ist, gefeiert (das ist eine Figur, die zwar nicht besonder 'schön' ist, aber die im benachbarten Steingaden mal 1730 am Karfreitag zu Ehren des Leidens des Heilandes in einer Prozession herumgetragen wurde und anschließend auf dem Dachboden des Prämonstratenser Klosters wohl ca. 3 Jahre aufbewahrt wurde, bis sich eine Frau Lory den Heiland erbeten hat und ihn in ihrem Schlafzimmer aufgestellt hat um vor ihm mit ihrer Familie zu beten. Am 14. Juni 1738, als die Familie wieder vor dem Heiland betete, meinte sie 'Zähren', also Tränen aus seinen Augen treten zu sehen. Das Wunder machte schnell die Runde und so setzte sehr schnell die Wallfahrt ein… und letztendlich wurde, nachdem ihr Schlafzimmer und anschließend die kleine Kapelle, die sie auf eigene Kosten bauen ließ - und die es noch heute gibt, all die Menschen, die den Tränen-weinenden Heiland sehen und verhren wollten, nicht mehr fassen konnten, wurde die Kirche gebaut und am 1.9. 1754 fertiggestellt und eingeweiht) und die Gebetsanliegen feierlich dem Heiland hingetragen. Wo wohnen Sie denn? Auf die 'Wies' sind früher die Leute wohl zu Fuß von überallher gepilgert, sogar aus Norwegen! So good! It's probably not in print anymore. Hopefully it is. But it is such a great book written a long time ago.

You are earning tremendous virtue through your daily struggle and by persevering. Do not give up. Take Mother Mary’s hand and your eternal joy will be guaranteed.

God gives His grace to anyone He pleases. Is not that we are less for Him, but because He wills it. That doesn't mean He does not love us, because He does immensely. It is just He has a purpose for it, to use them as an instrument of conversion for others. We just must accept His holy will, and humble ourselves to His will, not ours. Never give up on God, because He will never give up on you. He loves you immensely always, never forget it.
