I would love to see how you interpreted either The Lovers or the Tower. This devil could win a deal with just about anyone, I'm certain. Honestly, I think a lot of people miss the point where the devil is a tempter in mythology and was also "supremely beautiful" in much of his mythology, so I really like that you went with that route.

This is such an amazing custom. I love everything. The concept, the face up the hair, THAT OUTFIT, you made me want to stray from my bird only rule for tattoos and get some snakes as well. Also his freckles are everything.

on The Devil card there are also the characters from The Lovers card but this time in chains and unhappy, so in comparison to The Lovers it means toxic relationships and lack of freedom

i love your dolls so much!!! you really have such a distinctive & delicate style, and i love the way you use glitter/metallic finishes/rhinestones/embellishments in such a way that they look elegant-- it's really hard to pull that off imo :-) for this doll in particular, i absolutely adore the overshirt & the snake tattoo!! the patchwork finish with the puffed sleeves & the tassels is so visually pleasing, and the snake is SO cool & fits the theme so well!! the skin texture/body blushing/freckles look so good too, as always. aughghgh i could gush all day!! for suggestions, i'm sure everyone's already suggested every major tarot card under the sun. one thing i personally would really like to see, though, is a doll of a butch/masculine woman! i'm a butch lesbian & i've never seen someone in the doll community make a female doll that wasn't feminine, so it would mean so much to me. a butch magician doll or maybe even as 1/2 of a pair of dolls representing the lovers would be really cool :-) thanks for reading if you read all of this & have a good day!!

It looks good! I’m so happy that other artists are taking inspiration from the tarot. I first did an illustrated set that I finished up earlier this year and now I am onto a VRoid set. And both sets are the entire tarot.

Many often misunderstand the Devil card. While it normally represents material goods, addiction, lust and power. It represents the things in life that can twist you into a selfish and ill person. By default, it is one of the most negative card in the pack, but it is not truly evil. When flipped upside down, it becomes one of the most positive card of the pack, representing freeing yourself from the shackles and power holding you back, letting go of greed and being able to love someone truly, or yourself by breaking off from a toxic relationship. One of my favorite cards of the pack.

I love the idea for the series, my sister has tarot cards and they always have fascinated me. Ooofffftt love me a guy with tattoos. His outfit is perfection. You have combined some of my fav things into one doll, tarot cards, tattoos and historical clothing. He is just perfect well besides the fact that he is the devil xD Using that powder on the horns was such a great idea, I have similar powder for my nails except its rose gold chrome and I have a lavender chrome as well they're so beautiful.

Fantastic work! I am a bit tarot obsessed off and on, and also love reading fiction that uses tarot as a starting point for the story. One series I particularly love is The Arcana Chronicles by Kresley Cole. (Note: the author has been dealing with some personal stuff and we've all been waiting for the final book in the series for a NUMBER of years.) In the series, there is a human embodiment of each of the major arcana. Most are just ordinary teens, but some, like the Devil, are not. I like seeing a less monstrous, more human version of this card. I'm eagerly awaiting your next installment. I would love to see Strength, the Star, and the Wheel of Fortune dolls you would create. Absolutely LOVED your interpretation of this card--he looks beautiful, and the materialism/flashiness is on the nose for the Devil as a card. Also, I'm hyped that you didn't shy away from working with a male doll. There aren't as many of them in doll customization but I truly enjoy people embracing different design possibilities/visual tones for guys too. The possibility of seeing a somewhat balanced distribution is super exciting for me! The ten cards I'm most interested in seeing you hit are probably The Star, The Hanged Man, The Emperor, The Empress, The Hierophant, The High Priestess, The Moon, The Magician, The Tower, and The Hermit. The Star has had personal value to me for years for its ties to hope, spirituality, creation, and inspiration. The Hanged Man imo is a very redemptive card, the surrender of one path and one understanding of the world to accept a new perspective that places you in a vulnerable position but grants wisdom. A lot about facing fear and finding strength even in human frailty. I could go on at length about the others I mentioned lmao, but basically I think there's a really cool opportunity for range in design for them. The visual foils between Emperor, Empress, Hierophant, and High Priestess could be insane. The Tower embodied in a person as catastrophic change, the tearing down of an unstable structure to start over from bedrock, could also be fascinating. Likewise the moon holds an almost elemental level of illusion and uncertainty. Seeing the Magician's power contrasted against a potentially more subdued and withdrawn (but self-aware) Hermit also offers massive tonal difference. i like that you didn't just go ham on the devil motif. people often forget that in lore, the devil wasn't described as grotesque. in christian lore, he was one of the most beautiful of all the angels. and the whole snake in eden thing... well, that was how He started out Either. i never understood why people would think that somebody/thing with all that charisma would be beastly looking. unless you're Hagrid from Harry Potter lore, ugly scary beasties aren't going to be your thing. you wouldn't be charmed into doing something you Knew was wrong by some ugly bum on the corner. it's the handsome, charming, suave stranger that trips you up. that's why they Say "devilishly handsome" in the first place. you never hear "beastly handsome" now do you.

When you get around to the Moon card I'd love to see a big effect of mystery with it. Cheesey as it is, I've been playing a lot of The Binding of Isaac lately and the moon card in the game will bring you to the dingy mystery room, it could have good loot or bad loot and it's always a guess

I feel like you really captured the essence of The Devil, as he is as a tarot card instead of traditional depictions of the "mythological" figure. And well, the doll is gorgeous! I think my favorite card is The Moon - I really like it's detached from reality aspect, and I feel like it could make room for interesting interpretations as a doll. Not to mention, space themed art is wonderful, and mixing that with the whole dreams aspect, it's even better.

I'd be interested to see the Lovers or the Hanged Man. I bet you'd do great things!

I think you did a great job with him .I love how you did his eyes,I understand where you was going with this but I think I would have done one of those very thin sideburns that frame the face and perhaps a small goatee under his lip that they have with the thin sideburns and it would have helped more to visualise him as the Devil .He’s too good looking .But it’s a great idea.I love what you did with the tattoo and the clothes .Yes they work well.He should look naughty but nice lol 🥰

The Star is my favorite card. It represents hope and despair.. It could be a character that is outwardly cheerful but also sad on the inside, or trying to understand the difference between logic and emotion. It's also the card Aquarius (my zodiac) is often associated with (imagery of woman carrying water while looking up at the stars). If you do do it, please don't do it all blue themed, it's way too stereotypical of Aquarius dolls haha
