Dom_The_Otaku 2020 the chords are actually pretty simple to play, just 4 different major 7s but I’ve always loved the sound of them. The Maj. 7s are (in order of white, yellow, blue, pink) F#, B, E, A Major 7s btw are major chords with the 7th note of the major scale with it. Ex C major 7 is C, E, G, and B. CDEFGABC, B is the 7th note

I think they're all the in the same key with the same chords but are played in different forms. If you dont understand what im talking about take the G chord for example which is G B D. Now instead of doing that move the middle note up two halfsteps and you have a G2 chord which is G C D. So as I stated before I think they are all in the same key with the same chord progressions but just different forms.

Tiago Lemos It's amazing how you able to hear that because in reality it is, just hidden within the chords. The tonic of the chords (the note that the chord is built on) is the melody the pearls sing, which is hard to tell in the diamond's theme because yellow's and pink's are inverted so that the tonic is more obscure and that the most prominent note (the highest note) descends based on the ranks of the diamonds. Another interesting fact revealed in this cadence is that while yellow and blue are considered to be on the same level, yellow's chord is higher pitched than blues since it's inverted, but blue's tonic note is significantly higher, right next to white's (hence the relative position of the first and third note sang by the pearls). I feel like this is well reflected in the show as how yellow is presented as more powerful than blue in terms of raw strength, blue is more powerful but internally, which balances the two.

Late reply, and I sadly cant send any patches, but to get this sort of sound its relatively simple. Try using additive synthesis with a saw wave and a bit of PM modulation. high attack and release of course if you want to know what synths are capable of making this sound then here's some freebies ZynAddSubFx is capable of making this sound relatively easy Surge is very capable too, but its sound is lower quality. But its passable and Sytrus comes free with FL studio I believe, if you have FL then start using sytrus because its amazing if not then buy Sytrus anyways, its really unique and the only PM synth that's like it is Rhino by Big Tick now if i were to choose a paid synth to make this sound my go to choice would be Zebra2 by u-he Zebra2 is MORE than capable of making this and can probably make a near exact replica of the actual sound in the show a powerful PM synthesizer like Rhino and Sytrus would be great too. Native instruments FM8 could probably do it too. A wavetable synth could also likely get the job done, but I rarely use those. Hope this helps in some way, I'll see if I can set aside time and make some patches for Surge
