That's a target load. Federal Top Gun doesn't come in 00 buck. It's #8 shot.

the 8 means its #8 shot. it's low brass birdshot. the box of federal birdshot in my lap says 7 1/2 on the side. if it were buck shot it would have the 00 instead..

Yeah, #8 is not 00 and vice versa. That said, I still recommend 00 bucks if we are still talking about self defense. Just have to make sure it's the right rounds.

The 8 on the shell is not for the amount of shot in the shell. It’s the size of the shot. Also slugs are not tactic at all, they are used for pig and deer hunting.

Just a heads up, the red shells are not buck shot with 8 pellets. Those are #8 bird shot low brass meant for shooting small birds or clay pigeons. Hopefully you correctly that because I would hate for you to use those rounds in a self defense situation.

Lemme dumb it down for you. One for tactical navy seal boom boom bang bang... The other is used for breaching doors. If you really wanted to, you could use both for shooty shooty bang bang... Just depends on how much of the person you want to be left afterwards.

I personally prefer not to use birdshot or target shot to shoot a person with doesn't seem very productive. You're looking to eliminate a threat not make the threat suffer and still be able to shoot back.

Unless they use birdshot now for breaching but... 1. I highly doubt he breaches 2. I thought all law enforcement used slugs for breaching

If you use a mushroom while the blueshell is playing the attack animation, and the spikes are facing you, you will dodge the spin out and continue like you used a mushroom normally

Shell colors are based entirely off of what the manufacturer prefers. Color coding shotgun shells unless by government contract is worthless.

000 Buckshot is a large pellet, about 9.14 mm (0.360") in diameter. A 2 ¾” 12 ga. shot shell only contains about 8 pellets of 000 buckshot. This is the largest size shot commonly available in shotgun shells. It is used for hunting big game and for defense purposes.

8 doesn't mean 8 buckshot in a shell!! It means #8 birdshot . 00 buck is the largest I've worked with in 12ga except in specialty shells, and even then it's 9 balls in a shell, each one is .30 cal. So basically 9 9mm balls firing out your barrel at once. There yah go
