In this video, I do a quick little project to show the differences between Transparent Rhinestones and Transparent AB Rhinestones.

Thank you for sharing the difference and showing it on Minnie and the GT !! I can definitely see the difference and like the regular transparent on Minnie and the ab on the GT with the transparent border!!

Thank you, Marilyn. I think I’ll get some transparent AB rhinestones also. I have the regular ones already, and I love them. I don’t sew, but I might try making some of the iron on patches. Yours look fantastic! Again, thank you!

Really cute project! For that design, I like the "translucent" because it doesn't drown out the image. Doing a smaller test image is going to be my "must-do". Thanks for sharing this! Tracey

Hi Tracey! Yes, that's exactly what I thought. The translucent really added a cute shine and texture, but you could see the design really well! I agree, the test area is a must-do and will probably save us a lot of money in the long run:)

Great video! For sublimation I like the clearer but for putting rhinestones straight on a shirt I like the AB.

Both were pretty, but on Mini, I liked the transparent best. On the gold GT on the shirt, I loved the Transparent AB.

I think both are beautiful, but I agree with you that the plain ice looks better with the level of detail that is in Minnie’s face.

BEAUTIFUL Mary. How do I separate a rhinestone design to cut when there are multiple colors. I use Coreldraw?

I've never used CorelDraw to know how to do it on that software. I have only done this is Silhouette. The beauty in the transparent rhinestones is that you don't have to separate by color. The stones show the color of the print below them so you just make your rhinestones cover the entire image.

I don't think so. Are you using a png file? If so, you would need to trace it first and then use the concepts that I have in my videos.
