@joepipe101: Basically it is possible to work with a venturi solution in this case. But also a Pitot tube solution comes into consideration. To figure out the solution that fits best we need further information. Therefor please contact your local Endress+Hauser representative in Canada.

Can you explain why differential pressure flow meters cannot measure mass flow rate directly thought they are dependent on the fluid's density. We know that change in the fluid's density will affect the meters readings then why it is not termed as mass flow meter and it is called volumetric flow meter.. Thanking you in advance...

Note for myself. When we add a measurement tool: orifices, that creates turbulence. Hence we add a nozzle, or even better than that: we use a venturi meter instead, lessening the turbulence.
