Love all the old movies. These shows have great actors and people in those days people had conversations with intelligence. Thank you for sensible movies with good story lines .

I remember when an interstate was built in my hometown in 1971ish; it was the dissolution of our downtown and our way of life. Very sad when “progress” bulldozes livelihoods.

Tom Simpson the fisherman...Harry Lauter! That guy pops up all the time! Once again he shows up and surprises me! This time I was 100% totally unexpecting to see him. I was a kid back in 1950s and Harry was in so many TV shows and movies, I saw him in something every week, he sure was busy. He really should be listed higher in the cast...probably should be 3rd! In this show I also recognize, Minor Watson, Willis Bouchey, John Archer, Malcom Atterbury.

Boy, the way Glen Miller played. Songs that made the Hit Parade. Guys like us, we had it made. Those were the days Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days And you knew where you were then Girls were girls and men were men. Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again. People seemed to be content. Fifty dollars paid the rent. Freaks were in a circus tent. Those were the days.......
