This past spring, 30-year-old Gwich’in and Inuvialuk man Frank Gruben vanished without a trace from the small town of Fort Smith, NT.
His disappearance has sparked concern over how the territory handles missing persons cases.

Missing Person legislation should be federal legislation covering every province and territory. Every life matters and all missing should have a chance to be found. I hope the family can get closure soon.

In my society LGTB people are not accepted. Will not be harassed but most probably ignored. A family friend has a gay son and daughter. We all know, never discuss it, as though it doesnt exist. The parents never talk about it either. This is the norm here.
