I can't wait to try this - thank you, and having 10 inch squares left after the quilt top I made, this will look good as a backing without the cutting time taken for the front, and then a beautiful reversible quilt

Wow that was really new to me. I have never done patchwork or quilted. The colors are stunning and sublime. A very easy to follow step by step well explained tutorial a dummy like me was able to understand and appreciate the beautiful results. I live in France so the postage will be three times more for one pack of charms. I only have to sit back and enjoy your video tutorials. 😧Thanks for sharing and caring. 👍👍👍💟

Why do you tip one down and one forward and are you using a steam iron? New to quilting enjoy your videos thank you JGH
@Junctionfabric
@Junctionfabric 9 жыл бұрын
***** When you sew the pieces together, you want the seam allowances going in opposite direction. This creates less bulk at those intersections. On a 9-patch, it is my habit that the outside rows are pressed away from the center square and the inside row is press toward the center square. That way I know which is my center row just by looking. Yes, I am using a steam iron. Thank you for watching.

***** The whole seam allowance is pressed to one side. Rule of thumb press to the dark or less bulky.

It is a 12 1/2 inch block size. It depends on how many you need to make each size of quilt top.
