@@billyboleson2830 to be fair, they never did specify if it was the same Catwoman from earlier in the series. Could very well been a different character taking up the mantle. Granted, that was during a time when nobody cared about sticking to the source material or continuity. Like how Bruce Banner was called David in the old Hulk show for an example.

@@newmobils8294 any criticism I could dig up about Eartha Kitt catwoman had nothing to do with catwoman being a different ethnicity, this was the 60s literally no one but mega mega nerds cared about comic accuracy back then. If anything they had a bigger problem with a white guy and a black girl kissing rather then anything to do with racebending. People generally still like Kitts catwoman and catwoman was also mixed race in the Frank miller universe, she’s been portrayed as non white more then most realize

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that for it being anime inspired there is not a lot of cool action scenes

If people are already calling it better than the animated series, i have the right to come to my opinion

I think once the show is finished, we'll have more leveled opinions about the show now, i think now there's a lot of excitement and hype about an okay show.

There's alot you can nitpick about the show but the biggest flaw the show suffers is pacing. Everything feels like a vehicle to forward the story and nothing feels organic. The animations are generic but that's AdultSwim and the whole emblem lighting up and him recovering all wonds is cliché and classic anime troupe, saving the damsel in distress last minute. Where's the police? Where's law enforcement? First episode there wasn't even any civilians so it felt like everyone was there just to push a narrative and it felt lifeless and void. I dislike how the suit Clark wears never gets any battle damage or rips even when he wore his civilian attire. I remember that Matha would help stitch up Clark's suit whenever it gets damaged but in this show it seems like there's no downtime? I don't understand why shows utilizes nano technology and self repair suits like cmon damaged suits gives the character more depths look at My Hero Academia when Deku looked like a straight menace. Anyways that's just my thoughts. Edit: I dislike Lois Lane character and I felt the relationship between Clark and Lois was rushed partly because we know they'll be a thing later- still I wish there was more time for them to develop there feelings for 1 another instead of forcing the viewers to ship them after 1 episode. I don't have an issue for Clark being clumsy and him being all confident as Superman. It's part of the reason why Christopher Reeves Superman is so loved because he managed to differentiate Clark and Superman making it seem like they're 2 different people living in the same world. When you compare this show to old time classic you'd understand the mediocracy of this show. The only reason why this show is any good is because shows nowadays are woke garbage

I do love the animation and the New Newsboys. But I have doubts about this premise of the reporters as interns.

I don’t know much about Superman besides the basics and I haven’t really seen any of the movies besides man of steel which I watched back when it came out and haven’t watched since so can you explain why this is such a big deal?

Adult Swim is slowly taking over cartoon network. They put it on there to target adults nostalgia for the character and their love of the art style
