If you are interested in Disgaea, start for the 1 one and then go in order and never play the 6 one And there's a direct sequel of the first game called Disgaea D2

This would be worth the wait ever since Raven Brooks (mostly because Raven Brooks was so much of a banger that I could listen to it every day and forget that it's been released for a while now).

You guys killed it with this musical! Everyone’s individual songs were so good and felt unique from one another! I think my favorite has to be the Justice one that Anna sung. Wish the songs were getting the full release treatment but I understand why they aren’t! Great job to all of you!

I bet the one irl person I know that I dragged into RE will ask this question. “Was it worth the wait?” And yes. This was AMAZING! The set, the costumes, the actors, the SONGS!!! This was so good! I recently got Disgaea 6 for my birthday in May and now for RE to have made a musical about it! My life is complete. Everyone’s singing and acting was phenomenal. I don’t think I can say it enough. So good job y’all! But will these songs ever be on Spotify? Cause I’m ready to play these on repeat over and over and over and over again in the car. Lol.

All of the Disgaea games have cameos from other games in the series, but are mostly standalone (except for Disgaea 2, which has a character from Disgaea 1 in the party.) 6 Is a decent place to start, it really simplified the game. I think 5 is better, but for someone new to the series, it can be a bit overwhelming. I hope you enjoy what you find!

This is amazing! Disgaea is a game series that not very many people know and I am glad you guys did this. I grew up playing Disgaea D2 and recently just finished playing Disgaea 6 on my switch, so seeing this on my KZfaq feed lightened up my day! Thank you!!! :D

"The Love Song" that Melodia sings is so interesting to me, because as someone who doesn't really understand love in the sense of a romantic relationship (y'all, I don't really understand when people have crushes on each other. It's that bad.), it shows me a side I've never seen before: That love can be used in different situations, not just with loving one another, but with showing compassion even when it's hard. Probably much deeper than it was meant for, but that's what I got from it.

There's a lot of lines in that song that I really like. I think it was about 50/50 on things meant to be a joke and things meant to nudge you toward something deeper. But no matter what was intended, I *love* that this was your takeaway!

@@GwenPink It's something I've struggled with for a while now, due to Covid making me break away from people. When that happened, I started wondering what my definition of love is in my mind. When I didn't have a clear answer, it made it difficult for me to understand why people love. It's just such an interesting takeaway from something so lighthearted. Especially the line "that god may destroy us, but never our love." It gives me a few ideas on something I've never understood.

@@CBLOfficial Love is so different for each person both platonically and romantically, and people have been trying to define it for an eternity. If you ask me, love is that feeling of being both valued and welcomed (and conversely respecting/valuing the other person and wanting their company). The longer you get that feeling, the more permanent it feels, until yeah... you can be destroyed but the relationship can't. 🙂 No matter how you are personally experiencing love, I'm glad you're thoughtful enough to ask the big questions.

Maybe one day I'll experience it romantically, but platonically, I've got the bestest friends I could've ever asked for. I made bonds that never broke, no matter how far apart we became. I know you may not see this but it's worth a try, I've been watching your channel since 2012, I enjoy all your Musical and the time that you put into it, I know there are a lot of people out there that say in quote, "the animation sucks" , or "the costumes and time you put into it wasn't as good as I thought it would be." Although I think people are allowed to have their own opinion, I love that you take their opinion and interpret it in the most positive way possible and understand where they are coming from. I hate that I missed the premiere, this was great! I liked the little dance number, and Katie seemed to be embracing the inner Natsuki. Also, I haven't seen Justin La Torre on this channel since Sally Face, so that was a nice throwback.

Also I was sadly not able to go to the livestream but happy 11th birthday RE! Can we also just say that Gwen must’ve worked so hard to make most of these costumes! My favorite musical is a 5 way tie between Friday night funkin, all of the baldis basics songs, blasting off a Team rocket song, and Friday the thirteenth, and just Monika. I wonder if Natsuki knew the whole time what was about to happen. I was so sad when Monika snapped Natsuki. Natsuki is my favorite DDLC character and best girl. And I hate Monika for ending Natsuki's life with a Thanos snap. I'm glad she only got the lightest death. Pls give me a heart. I'm a girly girl who deserves the spotlight. Koharu 🌸😊
