Frozen Pizza Review #57 The Dish Famous Pizza Deep Dish Double Pepperoni Frozen Pizza
I recently had the opportunity to try the Deep Dish Double Pepperoni Frozen Pizza from The Dish Pizza Company, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The Dish Pizza Company started as a restaurant and now sells frozen pizzas, and I was excited to give this one a try.
The pizza was easy to prepare, with instructions recommending microwaving for 3 minutes before baking in a 400-degree oven for 15 minutes. Alternatively, you could cook it for 22 to 25 minutes without microwaving it. Once it came out of the oven, I was ready to dig in.
The first thing I noticed was the abundance of cheese. If you're a cheese lover, this pizza will definitely hit the spot. The crust was nice and flaky, and the sauce had a good flavor. I appreciated how the sauce was on top of the cheese, which gave it a unique taste.
My only recommendation would be to cook the pizza for 10 minutes more than the directions say. Overall, it's one of the better deep-dish frozen pizzas out there. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10 and definitely recommend giving it a try.
