Hey guys! Today, we're finally tackling Bride of Boogedy. The sequel film to Mr. Boogedy, a made for tv Disney Channel movie from the mid 80s. I put off making this video for a bit because the video I made about the first Mr. Boogedy film was somewhat harder to upload then I first thought. Disney can be a bit strange when it comes to copyright claims but nevertheless here we are. If I go missing in the next few days, it was Mickey Mouse (just kidding Disney...please don't sue me).
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video. You guys are the bees knees. I don't know why we've decided as a collective culture that that's a good thing...but any bee would be lucky to have you guys as its tiny little bee knees. So go out there and have an awesome day, you badass knees of bees!

I never saw the first movie, but we recorded this one to VHS from one of those periods where Disney would be available on basic cable. I used to LOVE this movie, I remember it being really goofy, and scary (I was pretty young). But I would want to watch it over and over again. Excellent review, I need to track it down and watch them both.

I have never been inside a wax building/museum, I have walked passed a few many years ago and that was enough for me, not that fond of something attempting to look real looking at you but is not real, although some wax museums do not get the look right so it just adds to the vast creepiness of it all, I only know that as unfortunately you do get some places that like to place a few outside in open hours, scary Art!

Yeah, it's that uncanny valley thing and it freaks me out. There's something about the eyes that are just terrifying.

I loved Mr. Boogedy, and I started to watch the sequel, but I cut it off after 30 minutes of all talk and no action or laughs. The first one is way better, and not as long and drawn out.

I would really like to know In Bride Of Boogedy at the end when there sitting around the table & they Summon Jonathan the Ghost. When Jonathan comes back they ask him who he spoke to & Jonathan says "He Told Me Not To Say" I always wanted to know who it was & why Jonathan couldn't say?

Also, the Boogety skepticism would make more sense if we'd gotten the impression that Boogity was actually gone, instead of stuck in a creepy prank vacuum. I guess the filmmakers were surprised by their own Monumental success and weren't planning for a sequel.

This is a kids movie. That's why the kids are the only ones who can sense when Mr Boogedy is around. For the older folks this makes for a great comedy because it spoofs itself and the entire horror genre. "Boogedy! Just kidding!"

They did another old horror movie you won't find on D+ but can find right here on youtube, it's called Watcher In The Woods. Apparently they've been trying to distance themselves from that film for decades so they might not try striking you over it? 😈😜

The one thing I don't agree that it was sexism when he told the boys to protect the women. He was just trying to keep the boys in the house.

"Why do they cut to reaction shots from the wax figures? Am I supposed to care what they think?" lmao edit: The wax figures come to life later because of course they do. Maybe the reaction shot was meant to be very lazy foreshadowing.

The dad in the Boogedy movies is also the dad in the problematic 80's movie Licence to Drive (with the two Coreys and Carol Kane). It's got a lot of yikes, but is worth a watch.
