I noticed that Paul Burrell said Diana referred to her wedding day as a spectacle (and I assume she meant it in the nicest possible way), but then Harry marries Meghan and she refers to her wedding day as a spectacle (obviously not in a nice way).

But she wanted the spectacle. She aimed to be a princess. Hoping to get the tip job one day (her words) She married the fairytale. She didnt mind marrying and having sex with an old fuddy duddy once it got her the attention she craved. And it did. So she won. And then threw it all away. The haters hate that harry is no longer allowing them ogle and perv over him and his wife and kids. The media need to keep lazy willy and waity katey looking good for the job so they slate the spare. That abuse on the spare and their partners has carrying on for centuries.

@@mitzi769 wise up. Kate morphed into her mother in law to such an extent her sick head should be tested. I think she even dressed her spawn george in some of Diana's chosen close for William. Meghan is nothing like diana. Shes ballsy and doesnt GAF for the sickly ghastly peasants.

It’s been said Charles became jealous and even resentful of Princess Diana’s quick rise to being far more popular than he was . Everyone wanted Diana during “ walkabouts” the people always called out for Diana . But if this marriage had not happened we would never have Prince William& Princess Catherine today . We have the Prince and Princess of Wales today because the marriage did happen . But truly Diana was much too young and they were complete opposites with interests and hobbies. They were not really compatible for a life of marriage . The Queen Camilla really was Charles age and he had already known Camilla for 10 years by the time Charles married Diana . Today the King is happy although I adored Diana and her fashion sense.

It was also said, that upon marriage, charles was bullied into giving away his dog, stopping him seeing several of his "old" friends that she didnt approve of and much more. He eventually got them all back upon divorcing her and upon her death, she mever got to stop him from seeing his sons again. But that kind of spoils the dripping lose fantasy of the Diana's fans and media idolists.

@maxsheerin8219 were do you get off saying she kept him form seeing his sons? Were is your proof of this? He had to give up his dog? Never heard that one either. As for us Diana fans we loved her for her. The person she was that loved and cared about those that others forget, especially certain classes of people. She wasn't a Saint, she cared more than most do are ever will. You are no one else can are will take that away from her, ever. She was and is Queen of hearts. While you are using your measuring scale she was by far more Saint on her marriage day than other party's. Innocent, virgin, and definitely in love. What went wrong was others not staying with their GOD GIVEN PARTNERS.

I do think she did love Charles up until the wedding. I think Charles did have affection for her as he couldn't marry the one person he actually did love. They were both jealous people (Charles and Diana of each other) and even their children (more Charles than Diana on that one). I believe that royals like getting their own way and no one getting in their way. I think if Diana if she was still alive now she would be more popular as she craved attention and so did Charles.

Because they would and could keep mistresses. THAT was the problem--nobody gave Diana the memo. She used to read romance novels and nowhere in them did Prince Charming leave the princess at home after rescuing her and then ride off to his mistress. She was supposed to sit at home quietly and pretend like she didn't smell Camilla on him when he came home at night like Queen Alexandra did with King Edward but being a naive 19 year old virgin, she didn't know that.

1. As the other reply said, it was an accident due to her driver and the paparazzi. 2. As much as I love Diana, she was not innocent and was also a cheater. 3. Meagan is an awful person in basically every way, while Harry has shown to be a spoiled whiner who’s easily led.
