Dear Orthodox brothers all the comments accusing our church in monophysitism or miaphysitism will be deleted... Stop ''preaching'' to us christianity, we are (nationwide) christians since 301 AD !!!

My late grandparents were Armenian refugees from the Armenian Genocide. They always attended and supported the Armenian churches in America. I love being able to connect to the Armenian church through these films as I don't live anywhere near an Armenian church.

I am a Latin Right Catholic, however, I love the unchanging nature of the Armenian Church and the beauty of it's Divine Liturgy which I find deeply moving. I watch this regularly as it makes me feel nearer to Our Almighty Father in Heaven. May God Bless all the peoples of the world and bring them to the light and truth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

I'm Roman Catholic and after watching this video, I think that the Divine Liturgy of the Armenian Apostolic Church is absolutely beautiful. I attend the Traditional Latin Tridentine Mass at my Roman Catholic church every Sunday because I don't like the modern liturgy introduced in the 1960's by Pope Paul VI. I noticed that the Armenian bishop in the video wears a mitre similar to the mitres Roman Catholic bishops wear.

I honestly loved your comment, they are going to tell the oldest Christian nation that our form of Christianity is "wrong". We are all Christians at the end of the day, so people really need to take it easy and work for reunification of our churches not segregation and hatred of one another. Thank you for the video :)

johannesnicolaas Let us now be worthy to stand in the presence of the Cherubim and Seraphim, along with the company of the Universe, and sing out in joyous praise, Holy! Holy! Holy art Thou, Lord of Hosts! Thou art radiant in Thy Glory! Let us now as mortals, put aside all earthly cares, and praise Your Holy Names and forms...now and forever! Amen!

The comment that people should stop "preaching" to us Christianity was probably the best comment in regards to accusing the First Church of being heretic.

To all of our Eastern Orthodox Brothers in Christ Our Armenian Church since its inception and acceptance of Christ as a nation in 301AD, we have never ever changed our original Orthodox ways, politics played a major role, and during the Council of Chaledon in 451AD Armenia could not attend becasue Armenia was fighting for Christianity in Battle of Avarayr in 451, while the Council was arguing petty politics and defenitions of Christs nature. We have nevr EVER accepted the Monophosyite accusation, we consider Monophysitism, as taught by Eutyches and condemned at Chalcedon, a heresy and only disagree with the formula defined by the Council of Chalcedon. Hence our Church has never strayed from original Orthodoxy, EVER I attend both Churches because my wife is Greek & my Mother is Georgian, and in unity and understanding we will serve our Lord Christ better

+johannesnicolaas Through the intercession of your virgin Mother accept the supplications of your servants, O Christ, who with your blood has made your holy Church more resplendent than the heavens. You have also appointed within her, after the pattern of the heavenly hosts, the orders of apostles, prophets and holy teachers. This day we, classes of priests, deacons, clerks and servers here assembled, offer incense before you, O Lord, as Zachariah did of old. Accept from us our prayers with offerings of incense, like the sacrifice of Abel, of Noah and of Abraham. Through the intercession o

Beautiful liturgy indeed!.....and yes, your people have been Christian since ancient times......but as you can see with the video, sadly, it is only meant for the Armenian people, and not for any other nation/ people and in that sense has lost the original mission of Christ to make the Church truly 'Catholic' by preaching and reaching out to all people.....it's not meant as a criticism, simply an observation that while your Orthodox and Catholic brothers and sisters have brought the faith to other peoples and accepted them into the Church, yours has stayed only within your own people.....God bless our Armenian sisters and brothers, despite our differences and separation. Kyrie eleison.

Dear Metta, I would not say so... Firstly, I wrote that comment because there are lots of Orthodox "missionaries" on the web who comment to almost all videos about our church, trying to prove that we are heretics... Secondly, there were lots of Armenian missionary Saints in ancient time, e.g. St. Servatius, St. Chrysolius, St. Blaise etc.. Armenians had and still have an important role in preserving christian heritage, e.g. the Armenian presence in Jerusalem (for hundreds of years) and lots of pilgrims in Jerusalem take part in the Armenian Mass and receive Communion. Not to mention about Armenian presence in early monastic and ascetic life (e.g. St. Euthymius the Great)... Thirdly, Armenia had a really tough history and Thank God we still keep our faith. We had thousands of murdered monks and priests during the Armenian Genocide and Soviet Era, thousands of martyrs among non-clergy people... For centuries being a part of non-christian empires Armenians had a really hard time in preserving their faith and not converting to Islam... Since our history is really long and tragic, I would finish by giving one more example: While in 405 AD our christian brothers were concerned about theological issues in the Council of Chalcedon, Armenians were fighting against Persians in the Battle of Avarayr, as a result obtaining the right to practice Christianity freely... Suggestion: watch the movie "From Ararat to Zion" about the Armenian presence in Israel, you can find it on KZfaq. .

Let me summarize by the words of St. Paul (from Letter to Corinthians): - 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body. If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired. If they were all one member, where would the body be? But now they are many members, but one body. The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety; whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part, that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Thus there are many members (churches, people) of body (Christ), each one with distinct mission and role... So the mission of our church was rather keeping and preserving and not spreading. Kyrie Eleison (Տէր Ողորմեա). *in the above comment I meant 451 AD and not 405 AD
