I would love to see your spin on an ace's and eights build. I have a fun one i pit together using nemesis as the main weapon, almost one shooting tanks in pvp. Love status effect build, it is lots of fun! My aim is not good, half of the time enemies already move aside lol. I think Vile mask is the mask that somehow never drop once, even with target loot or exotic caches.

I use EP gear set rolled with status effects. Backpack, gloves, knees, and holster. China Light chest with SE, haste and glass canon. Vile mask with SE and duration. I also use Demolitionist Spec for the 10% explosive damage + 15% additional explosive damage from China Light, which both add into the Vile buff from the concussion grenade. Weapon of choice for me is the Scorpio which also procs the vile buff. Secondary is the test subject for perfect insync. Skills are blinder firefly which also procs vile buff and striker drone or stinger hive for bleed SE.

That's what I have, except OD instead of EP for the hollowpoint ammo. And the weapons I keep swapping between are bluescreen and pestilence. I used to always run bluescreen due to the talent on it being my oh sh*t button, but recently I (re)stumbled upon pestilence and that ticker is wonderful. Now my OD gear has +15% WD instead of skill tiers. Once I get my initial hollow points, it's GG.

@@renegadesg018based on your question, im going to say yes and no? the vile mask ticks based off of what the base grenade dmg is. Since the demo specialization has an increase in base nade dmg, its better to have that instead of the firewall spec with incendiaries. Now, which nade you choose during a fight, regardless if its the base, or the special nade per specilization, that part doesnt affect the build.

Thanks, I’ll definitely farm for this. I got to 150 Shd yesterday and figured now I can try the DZ… After getting farmed by 4 Rogues for an hour I figured it was their higher shd level that was the reason. So I started doing conflict aaaand got owned by lower levels as well. So yeah, I just don’t have the skills haha. Maybe a skill build is what I need!

Pvp movement/positioning is definitely a learning curve. After a bit you'll get the feel of when to facetank and when to move.

Last night I threw together some pieces I already had......3 Wyvern (mask, holster, chest w/kinetic momentum), 2 Hana-U (knee pads, BP w/creeping death) and Electrique gloves. All with SE and skill dmg with the 3 mod slots being Skill Haste. It's not optimized by any means but considering it was items from other builds or stash items it was super fun. The build lacks some of the peak SE potential but that 40% skill duration from Wyvern makes the burn duration so long I feel like it makes up for it. I think it's sitting at 85% SE and 80% skill dmg....but I'm not home to verify.

@@KamikazevondoomI found that instead of grinding endlessly for a Golan Shomer Holster rolled with skill damage and status effects it's more efficient to simply use a second piece of Electrique rolled with the latter attributes. It already has a rolled skill tier and gives you 20% shock resistance for the second piece of the Electrique set.

I use the Bluescreen LMG and Vile for my PVE status build. That allows you to mark them with one bullet but have status apply regardless of distance. It's great for weekly summit runs because it clears rooms fast and one shot can take out a spawn door.

It's good unless you're in a group where the enemies are scaled harder. Time to kill is greatly affected.

I run the exact same build. Except, I use Technician for the bonus Skill Tier, and I leave my 1pc of Golan with an Armor Core for better survivability. Other than that, it's identical, and it's a BEAST!

4 pc Eclipse + Vile + 1 pc Golan (gloves, in my case) is still the one to beat for an all-status build. It's my go-to for grinding in open world, and one shot with Firestarter can kill dozens of enemies if they're clustered somewhat close (Stinger Hive for secondary skill). Add Test Subject for main gun, Scorpio for close encounters. I haven't found any combo in 5 years that beats this for status damage.

These videos are great. Due to a lack of things for me to do in destiny 2 (my main game), I thought I could come back to Division 2 in the mean time after years (I was level 38). My only issue is that I am collecting lots of stuff and dont really know enough to know what to delete or give to the library etc so I just have lots of 'stuff' haha

i also came back after a long time and honestly just farm countdown as you can target loot in there and buy exotic cache almost every run. probably put alot of thing in library since countdown drops alot of named and tier pieces anyways

i always do it on heroic, the matchmaking for it is really quick. there will be times you get kicked but it doesnt matter cuz in seconds you have another group. its really not that hard at all as long as people stick together atleast a little bit. if you get good luck on the 3 buffs aswell then everyone will be destroying everything anyways. talking like 2mil + crits with assault rifles sometimes more even@@djad54

@Kamikazevondoon Ive been running this setup for years. Used to use a Wyvern piece before the Electriqie came out but now of course im going with it. I use Creeping Death and Tamper Proof as my talents and im running it out of the Gunner specialization (to amplify the concussion grenade stat to increase the Vile Mask tick). For my talents i use the Firestarter chem-launcher and the Assault Turret. Spawn points dont stand a chance. Or Ongoing mask, gloves, knees and holster with 1 piece Electrique and 1 piece Golan. Everything rolled to skill tier/status effects. (☝️95% status effects) Wpn: GR9 with Sadist Skills: Firestarter/Assault Turret Talents: Tamper Proof/Creeping Death Spec: Survivalists

My status effect build is : 4 piece eclipse protocal - gloves,holster,backpack,kneepads. I use an empress chest piece with umbreakable. And last the vile mask. All pieces have status effect, skill haste. As for weaons, i use the firestarter, and a assault turret. I use the pestilance lmg, and the mop shotgun. The umbreakable gives you longer life.

weird. if not using eclipse chest, use whatever, but i run vile mask creeping death backpack or galvanize backpack 4p eclipse with riot foam chem not your firestarter chem.. and burn sticky...

Personally for the Chestpiece I use the Perfect Trauma on the Cherished, and I typically use the Bleed Trap and the Fire Seeker Mine, I'm also typically using 6 tier skills on my gear (which I use HW to reset the cooldowns more quickly on skills) and I use the Survivalist spec because the shotgun debuff that they provide is far far too annoying a weapon for Firewall, they should have made it available as a talent we could put on any preferred pistol slot weapon imo. I use survivalist because it is easier to pop off an explosive arrow in an AOE which does sometimes provide bleeds to everyone hit, and I prefer to combine bleeds with fire because it ticks faster since they both do damage to yellow armor before taking out the enemy. But I have also played around with 3 skills on armor and 3 15% weapon damage on armor to setup a balanced use of bleeds fire and the exotic called Pestilence. That seems to eat through enemies in PVE.

Im curious on how effective a Skill Tier, Status Effect build would be using Ongoing Directive. Take a bit of effort getting Status Effects rolled on every piece and then rolling Skill Tier for the core attribute. But the main thing being, you would be using the OD Backpack for the boosted damage and duration of the bleeds. Then using the Stinger Hive. So probably, Vile Mask with the Picaro Holster OR a Glass Cannon Chest piece. Or maybe even a China piece to boost the vile damage. Who knows.

My favourite go-to build for solo open country play = Eclipse Protocol + Vile mask + one piece Golan Gear with Scorpio (short range) and Pyromaniac (long range), and a pistol with Perpetuation on it. Equip incendiary grenades, with stinger hive and healing drone. Status effects recal on all green armour items. Works for everything upto and including rogue agents.

@@TheMETALICA40 Oh! I forgot the important bit - it's a Golan Gear "Chatzatz Chest". I farmed for ages and got one with status effects as one of the two attributes, and with Trauma on it. So you can use either weapon to apply a status effect, but the chest is also applying blind and bleed on a 30 second cooldown. Use the fire grenades or shoot anything red to keep adding to the status effects, and getting the +25% damage bonus with Pyromaniac. As long as you get something on one red bar in a group before you kill them, you'll 'infect' almost everyone there. If you get bum-rushed by a group of adds, just drop the stinger hive right at your feet. ;o)

Have you tried it with china light instead of empress? It make viles toxic delivery more potent with higher explosives damage and gets you to 100 percent status effects!

I gonna try my eclipse with spe survivalist . +10% dmg for team on target who have on status fx+ exo shortgun (full team buff).you can use named mk17.After an headshot, +50% on status dmg and status Time. After you have 2 types of status. Status fx (stunt etc) and status dmg . I prefere play another build for tech dmg .

I use 2 piece wyvern 2piece haha-u with golan and electric. Tech support and tag team as my talents with skill haste in each gear piece I still get 90% status. I use burn sticky and drone. My skills come back instantly with my sticky being on a 5 second cooldown. Let’s just say I out DPS people with Strikers easy.

pretty low armor 0.o for pvp-conflict suppose could add a couple blue cores and still have ton of status effect. i put together a fun build recently perfect trauma chest and perpetuate on gun. so like creeping pack, vile, perfect trauma chest and maybe a vector or gun of choice with perpetuate

Scorpio is really bad in pvp. The status effects it applies are different than PvE. Also the status effect duration on the Scorpio is based on how many pellets you hit per shot, not your build.

i stopped playing pvp when i met some 13 year old kids who annihilated me and some randoms, like we had 1 kill between us. i messaged gg they invited me to a party and started calling me trash as if im back in a mw2 lobby. turns out there’s a thing called a xim or something that lets you use a keyboard and mouse what they claimed to be using. never done my weekly pvp projects since i ain’t here for that ill stick to raiding and farming
