I once emptied almost four magazines into an elite LMB using an mg5 LMG, before finally bringing him down. No I wasn't missing a shot, I had killed all of his buddies and he was suppressed and wouldn't move. I noticed that aside from the random blue numbers, it was all white. After seeing that first hand I realized why I kept getting my ass kicked. From that moment forward, I have equipped all of my weapons to prevent another embarrassing situation like the afore mentioned. MY firearms were around the 7000 mark, so I knew I should be putting down targets a lot faster. After equipping weapons for crit chance and damage, NPCs and rogues die a lot faster now. I suck at PvP, but I still enjoy the chase. It's amazing what you can learn from one cowardly LMB, and a great video such as this. Thanks

Great stuff man. Very honest feedback. A lot of KZfaqrs are out here running mouse and keyboard mods or Kronos max on xbox 1 getting 70k in last stand running these "God" builds, but in reality they are impractical. These are exactly the type of builds I've been running. Only difference is i run a tenacious mask. That extras 10% damage for 10 seconds really can turn a 1 on 3 into a 1 on y'all dead. I agree with you on all points except one; magazine choice on snipers. In my opinion, I prefer High Velocity Magazines on rifles (7.5% CHC, 5% Reload, 4% CHD). Reason for that is because of its use. When you use one, in PvE or PvP, you either have plenty of time to use its stock 5 or 7 rounds before enemies close in too close to use it, or the enemy drops, giving you plenty of time to reload. The only exception to this is in Legendary Missions and Heroic Incursions, but even then is typically only named enemies. Just my 2 credits

I think I told you that already in a previous video but there it goes again just as a reminder/help for new players. I like to use assault rifles and on ps4 (the platform I uss) I use Striker build, which already give you stability and on my backpack I trade the health for stabilty also and that way have my assault rifles with around 40% stabilty (really stable) That allows me to stack the striker bonus really high (normally can stack around 30 to 40%

Stability is very important for console players, notice u will actually hit more targets and cause more damgage

One of the reason people run banshee is because of the 10% dmg reduction. This allows you to spec crit dmg on knees, and backpack, and still be a tough.

nice tutorial, but i prefer to put stability on the backpack where you can have a bit more (up to 17.50%) and as i normally use the Bullfrog i need a lot of stability without mods

In the current meta, a firearms build isn't going outgun a hybrid - it lacks the survivability. So I disagree on the points regarding assault rifles. You want as much chd as possible, and rely on your pulse and adept for chc. For stability, spend a few days practicing on a Bullfrog and then you'll be fine using an M4 :)

My tendency is to gravitate towards lots of stability both on Assault Rifles and LMG's. But I have failed to take into consideration the base weapon talent. So, its like I was trying to train a donkey to be a lawn mower when I should have been capitalizing on the donkey talents of the donkey. All that being said, SMG's come with Crit Hit Chance base perk while Assault Rifles come with Enemy Armor Damage. Is there any talent, other than the Crit Hits, that could enhance that natural talent of the Assault Rifles?

U mean spec into CRIT DMG on smgs

So m4s are better in this patch along with hybrid builds and puting stability is a BIG waste of dmg. Taking some time to practice control you are going to hit most of the bullets and with meta build puting crit chance mods is a WASTE of a dmg. Puting study hands you lose any other talent that could help you. Meta is building m4 into a smg to have higher base dmg and headshot dmg along with effective range, you also have survivability and dmg becouse of booster shot that you will get back quickly if using your talents correctly pulse will give you enough crit chance so you don't need chc mods but you need adept and with correctly built gear you will be able to get around 50chc with heal every 15sec or less that also grants you dmg(i am playing on ps4 with controler)

Instead of Barrerts I'd use reckless since your skill power is low
