Dr. Mitchell Chasin of Reflections Center for skin & body in New Jersey injects fillers to plump up sunken-in and hollowed out temples. Just had it done, looks awesome, couldn't be happier with the results.. but don't do it without good pain relief to hand, the following days are very painful. Be prepared with soups and shakes.

So happy to hear you're loving the results! Hopefully you're past the worst of the discomfort. We don't usually hear from our patients that they experience that level of discomfort, so if you are still feeling that, please contact your doctor. It's important to discuss any abnormalities with your doctor quickly, just to be sure nothing needs to be worried about.

Did you get it in the US? How many syringes on each side? How much per syringe?

Aw she doesn’t have Frankenstein face! She just needs a good concealer! Fillers help (I’ve had them!) but makeup helps a lot too. I drank and smoke a lot , and consequently lost my baby face. Cheeks sunken, smile lines for the GODS, and yes , temples are very hollow. I haven’t had my temples done but everything else got filled in and it literally took like 10 years off my face. Like I never touched a bottle of Jack! I’ve been cutting back dramatically, and just stopped smoking two weeks ago so hopefully I can stop aging into oblivion. Cheers ladies!

Mine are much worse, and I'm 36..+my cheeks are so hollow people usually assume I'm around 90lbs(I'm average weight, but gaining weight doesn't seem to help). I've always had extremely bony face(I had teeth issues as a child and it affected my faceshape), and I'm really insecure about it. It's not fun when people tell you that you look anorexic/sick:(

@@kuuttinen quick update on my face, I now get mistaken for an 18-19 year old! Good skin care, microneedling , peels, filller to fill in hollows, cutting out sugar, alcohol, getting a full nights rest, antioxidants, etc. I now look younger than my coworkers who just turned 21-22.

“we have never heard of before” !! What ??? Why would he say this? Lots of women and men notice this when we are getting older and lose our volume in our temple area. It’s also called “peanut head” because of the shape. Try to make people feel included and not alone in there struggles. Try to pick your words with a little more thoughtfulness

What was the filler!! Sculptra, voluma?......lol. UMM

This patient was injected with Voluma for her temples. She currently works at Reflections as our clinical manager, and has had several different types of filler over the years since then (this video is now 4 years old), as well as other treatments, but I don't believe she has ever personally had Sculptra. Generally Sculptra is better for more diffuse and comprehensive treatments vs. Voluma is used to spot correct indentations or volume deficits, such as the temples. We have yet to hear of anyone using Sculptra for temple deficits - usually it's Radiesse, Voluma, or Lyft - and Voluma is by far the most common.

@@amberleefayee Believe she had 2... It's been such a long time! But most patients need 1 or 2 syringes for temples.
