@@HappyChocolateFamily My dad raised him in college up in Providence, Rhode Island. Times were different back in the 70's where the professor was okay with him bringing the dog to class. One day my dad got too drunk with his friends so he skipped class the next day, but still had to let the dog out to go to the bathroom. (no fence or leash) He got a phone call from his professor because Ace showed up to the school (all the classmates knew him) "Hey Peter...I'm sure you're sick, but you need to come get your dog." haha He was super well trained and intelligent so my dad didn't believe in leashes and he just ran free during the day and would eventually come home.
