Holy guacamole this took forever to make, about twice the time it took for my last Iceberg. but I’d seriously argue this is one of my best pieces of works yet. To you all today, I present to you the Dokkan Battle Iceberg. I hope you all enjoy and learn something new!

This entire Iceberg was MADE by Spelical, an awesome KZfaqr who is doing his own series on his channel about it! Check it out!!! / spelical
This is my second attempt at making an Iceberg, the first was for Xenoverse 2 [ • The Dragon Ball Xenove... ], and I learned a decent bit about Icebergs since making that. So, after searching far and wide for another instance of this video being recorded- I have (mostly) come up empty-handed. The only other instance was the creator of this Iceberg, Spelical ( / spelical ) doing his own mini-series on it! The others were Spanish speaking KZfaqrs.
So I decided I'd shoot my shot at making a video for one of my favorite video games of all times Iceberg, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle!
This took a long-ass time to make, but I'd argue it was worth it!
Hopefully you all learn something new from this Iceberg, I'll admit I even learned some things I haven't before! Once again credits to Spelical for posting this Iceberg!

AGL Voldemort refers to AGL blue gogeta. since JP got that unit before DBS broly released overseas, mods on the dokkan subreddit banned people who talked about that gogeta because some people considered it a spoiler. as such, people called him voldemort because he was "He Who Must Not Be Named"

I'd assume that "Teen" Gohan refers to the ACTUAL Adult Gohan, who is a married man with a child and a job, being named as "Teen Gohan" in the game. Dokkan is actually correct to call Buu Saga Gohan "Teen Gohan" (as he is 16 during that Saga), and also correct to call Cell Saga Gohan "Gohan (Youth)" since he's like 11 at his oldest there.

Cool video Warden but can you Activates the Entrance Animation upon entry (once only); ATK +50% and guards all attacks for 4 turns from start of turn; ATK & DEF +150%; plus an additional ATK +100% when performing a Super Attack; plus an additional ATK & DEF +20% (up to 100%) and reduces damage received by 10% (up to 50%) with each attack received; medium chance[2] of performing a critical hit starting from the turn in which the character receives the 5th attack in battle; all allies' Ki +1 and DEF +30%; great chance[3] of evading Unarmed Super Attacks directed at the character and countering with tremendous power

Nope, its reffering to the penultimate phase of the Legenday Goku Event. UI Sign Goku was STR where as SSJ Broly (from the Super Broly movie) was PHY. You can guess how he performed there....

Nope nano luck is a REALLY OLD term back when LRs were the shit originating around 6 years ago when Teq rosemasu was not pulled by him very easily, I beleive this is his most popular form of it he showed, it's just a meme that Nanogenix was really lucky with getting LRs back in the day.

1:01:18 Everyone used to call TURs LRs back before we actually had LRs in the game. Broly was an absolute monstrosity, I started playing right before he came out. It's kinda depressing how far the year 1 and 2 units have fallen. Especially STR gogeta and AGL super vegito lol.

You can use them for training if anything...idk if you can convert them to baba coins, but if you can there's that...

you used to actually have to use those units in the very early days of dokkan. N's you typically did not use for very long but R's were your bread and butter. SRs were rare and SSRs, initially, were about as rare as LRs used to be when they were new. Before a certain update you also needed to feed in characters to train your units, so traditionally you would do a friend multi and throw those characters in to start training, I guess the idea is that they needed a partner to spar with.

Also 36:06 According to Nolar, the lower rates was an actual visual glitch and didn't represent the actual rates of the banners, so much so that the dokkan team showed the in-game code and stuff to prove that the rates were not lower.

Super Late, but no one's commented on this yet. The "Chancletas" entry originated from an early screenshot of LR Zamasu(Goku) EZA's Ultra Super Attack, with a message from OP's mom telling them that they "forgot their chancletas". This has caught on so much that they imagined Zamasu(Goku)'s laser arm to be a pink chancleta instead.

The wallpaper voting refers to back in the day when players could vote for the wallpaper they wanted to receive which was based on all the title screen wallpapers that debuted in the game up until I think the 4th anniversary or something of that nature and the Goku Black saga one was the winner. The Nappa medal before the Saiyan saga event got updated had extremely bad drop rates. It took at least 5 to 6 runs to get one medal to drop. Bra is 14 or 15 when GT starts so it makes sense she'd be on peppy gals. Pan is only 10 so pretty self-explanatory why she wouldn't be on there. GT predates Super so Bra had to have been born before pan and Z nor GT ever really confirmed who was born first but just going off of appearances and attitudes, Bra seems to be older than Pan. The game devs and Toei are the only ones who know Bra's real age in GT so we'll leave it at that SS2 Trunks was a what-if character but because of how the Super Manga and Anime debut Majin Buu Saga Trunks with SS2 it makes sense they'd go ahead and give him an awakening even though he's in the crossover category in the game Removed cards refer to TEQ Final Form Frieza, TEQ Towa, PHY Mira, and STR SS Goku who were all removed from the game but 3 out of the 4 have returned and have been added back in. TEQ Final Form Frieza is the only one that has yet to return to this very day The OG promo art is in one of the Dokkan Battle Trailers I believe. Its probably one of the first couple of trailers for the game but you'll have to do some digging around on KZfaq for it.

Another fun fact about the giant form you missed was when the game first came out you would still take an ungodly amount of damage when in said form and I STILL get ptsd to this day thinking I take damage

The “RIP DBS Broly” is a reference to a meme describing all of LGE’s phases in a humorous way. Both the STR UI and INT MUI phases were labeled as “RIP DBS Broly” because the former had type advantage against him and the second hit so hard that Broly having type advantage against Goku literally didn’t matter, you were still taking a ton of damage because DBS Broly hadn’t EZA’d yet

You can still find old screenshots of it online somewhere, with Vegito's shoulder and part of the outfit being visible next to SSJ3 Vegeta and the only reason people let it slide after was because the christmas banner had nice discounts and featured Vegito along with Super Gogeta and SSJ3 Gotenks I think?

"Nanoluck" refers to how people began changing their dokkan names to "nanoluck" to get better summons. I think it was in 2019, and a lot of people were posting screenshots of them pulling tons of featured units after doing this. It doesnt really do anything, but people thought that changing their names to anything with "nano" in it would trick the app and give them better luck

I think 9:03 was meant as in people using Vegito's ( I think AGL Super Vegito specifically) counter animation to basically 'counter' somebody's argument on Twitter. I don't know if it was just the animation as a response, but I think I've also seen like videos about some statement or something with the counter animation added as a 'counter argument'. This was like a year ago though and I have only seen a few, so my memory could be wrong.

Oh hey, I actually submitted a few of these back when the tier list came out! I’ll clear up a few for ya: Rage/Giant Form Damage Bug: Back around LR Kale & Caulifla’s release, when Dokkan was fixing their Ki overflow bug, they inadvertently caused a shit ton of issues, including at one point making it so that Giant Forms could actually take damage and you could die while in them. “Rip the homie DBS Broly”: This is referencing an old Dokkan Subreddit meme that circulated around the time of the first LGE, poking fun at how much damage the last two phases could inflict onto PHY DBS Broly. Chiaotzu Abuse: Chiaotzu had a really funny-looking sprite when he got attacked, so it became a subreddit trend to show him in the middle of various super attack animations with his ridiculous-looking face. Type DFE Banners: This was one I submitted! It refers to a time around year 3, I wanna say? Where they came out with a set of banners that had 3 DFEs featured per banner, each one related to one of the 5 main types (I remember summoning on the AGL one which had Super Vegito, Rose and SSBKK on it). Old box photoshops: In the earlier days of the subreddit there was an image circulating around of someone posting a hypothetical “future” Dokkan with a lot of photoshopped LRs and TURs of characters that didn’t exist at the time, most notably among them being a TUR of Hitler from Fusion Reborn. friends list at 9:28 is because dokkan's friend system is notoriously shit compared to any other gacha game on the market. You couldn't find unpopular leaders at all because people would just put their best unit as the friend, this has been reduced with the help of the new dev friends which will allow you to find unpopular leaders but even that is not perfect especially when there are a lot of people botting

The PHY SSJ3 Gotenks change wasn’t due to outrage. They just posted the wrong image according the Dokkaner. Which I’m inclined to agree because it was so fast and AGL LR Gohan never got changed. The outrage for him was magnitudes worse by miles.

The strange Screens you get sometimes when you log out during a fight and open the game again. I believe I once got one that said dont do it again, and another one that was less creepy (Ss2 str gohan screen) Edit: It was the "Training is Over" screen, anti hacking screen which only appeared for me for a split second, because my acc is legit.

great iceburg but it would be cool if they added the "nerf" to lr kale and caulifla shortly after they released. there was a problem where they were able to get up to like 30 ki on their ultra super and have their additional super attacks hit just as hard as their ultra super, making them incredibly broken. crazy how dokkan still flat out nerfed the card after its release. little bit of history there

Shouldn't it be kinda easy to figure out if Flat 30 really is better than 7 per country? I mean its already obvious that asa you hit 5+ you already get more stones. How much countries do even need to hit TG so they give out the 30? If its 4 or more its basically just breaking even. Unless they just rng it for every banner itself. There is not doubt in my mind that some folks, maybe the homie Goresh eg. , probably have logs of all the TG stones we got and how many countries there were for all celebs

My dad downloaded dokkan for fun after seeing me playing it for years ssj3 lr teq goku released just 2 days before tvat i guided him rrough the tutorial and said to him now you have 50 stones press multie and boom shenron animation, he got ssj3 lr gonu and lr phy trunks in hist first multie first summon ever after that he stoped cuz he didn't like kt so he hass officialy a 100% shenron animation only dokkan player

Facts,if anything it feels that people want GT to be as relevant as Z and Super rather than GT not having enough representation. The fact that we have no DB tournament and that we barely got more DB DFEs years later shows what not having enough representation actually looks like.

The game is making me mad sometimes.. I'm level 312, I got a perfect maxed out Universe 7 Team all legendary etc. and there are still stages I can't beat. What are they expecting me to have‽‽ // Also my gohan + goten LR still has the old colors.
