Today I visit the Chinatown of Santo Domingo. During my trip to the Dominican Republic, I had the opportunity to see many contrasts between the rich and the poor. Despite the paradisiacal beaches, in the Dominican Republic there are still many poor people who struggle every day to survive.

En República Dominicana hay mucha pobreza como en todas partes del mundo ningún país es perfecto siempre hay 2 caras pero poco a poco se va mejorando

Hello, just to make it clear, I'm not criticizing the Dominican Republic. I have been there twice and I really enjoyed it.I look forward to go there again. I left money for the brothers from the video. I didn't inturrpted them. One of them, the man in the orange T-Shirt, actually first talked to me and asked for money.

oye socio Republica Dominicana es el vivo ejemplo de que poco a poco se puede avanzar es un pais donde a visto guerra , Dictadura , corrupción y muchos problemas pero quisqueya la bella es fuerte y soporta firme como un arbol de coco de gente trabajadora que se levantan pronto a negociar y cualquier circunstancia de la vida con la ayuda de dios se supera

Dices que la mayoría es pobre noo la mayoría es clase media lo que pasa es que tenemos muchos Haitianos en el país andando en la calle vendiendo en la calle y los estranjeros ya creen que son dominicanos 🙄

Todos los paises del mundo entero tienen lugares asi y peores en francia por ejemplo vayan a ver gente que viven abajo de los puente y con el clima es peor con ese frio asi es que el que habla mal de rep dom lo que quiere es cojer sonido de una manera o de otra ese tipo quiere brilla

Buen video.muchos sólo muestran una parte. Pero no muestran que el gobierno debe mencionar las personas que pasan de 60 años como lo hace el gobierno estadounidense.

It is quite disgusting. You approach these people, who are living in misery, one of them said "no tengo nada pa comer" and you gave them nothing. So whats the purpose of your video to show what? The evident poverty and then what? What a waste!

Man you are recording these people and publishing content with them and earning money, but you can't give them $10 dollars or something. You can't do that man. Any Dominican knows that you can't disrupt someone from working and they are telling you they don't have $$ for food and you act like an idi_ot and keep moving, that is wrong man.
