I've played guitar for 30 years when I first saw this video a few years ago. I had never owned a Telecaster before. The day after I saw this video I went and bought a Tele. It has been my #1 ever since. Tom

I was the same too. I played my Strat forever until I tried a Tele.For some reason I never played a Tele over the years.Until that faithful day I walked into a music store .I saw a 2003 US Fender Tele Tobacco Sunburst maple neck on the wall with price tag of 750$ +tax used .I walked around the store & some guy took of the wall & was playing it. I was looking around the store but the sound of that Tele was amazing! I walked up to the guy & he said .You play guitar?I said Yeah.He said"You gotta try this one its amazing but I can't afford it" I sat there & it just seemed to play it self?I played it for about 15 min & decided THAT'S IT! Then the store owner said to me .Hey Dude I gotta a guy calling me to put that Tele aside so he can buy it! I said "No" I want it but can you make a better price? We settled at $700 tax in . That Tele has been my main for the most part of my playing .

I don't know if you got a Tele but I feel in love with them after I got my main ? Oddly enough Most Guitarists I spoke to over the years they either had one or have a couple! I'm looking for another one now as a back up! I'm always looking for more guitars to spice up the herd! I'm also looking for a Gibson Hollow body dot neck or Dosenbreg or a Gretsch White Falcon I currently have 2 Fender Strats. A Gibson Les Paul Studio ,Gibson SG, a Jackson Dinky, a JS 100 Ibenez , a Libertore Neck thur custom made I had since 1987, & my TRUSTY Fender Telecaster! You know we just can't ONE??

The absoulute best bar in the US and Don Kelley has alot to do with that. We're making the annual roadie from Wisconsin in 3 weeks. Can't wait. Someone needs to place some Brazilbilly on here also. Friday night at Roberts is the best 8 (or 10) hours you'll ever find.

I've been a huge fan of Simo since he was 15 years old. This electrifying clip brings it all back to me of watching this kid blow me away with his chops ten years ago. Anybody who has never seen this guy live on stage is missing the show of their lives. J.D. Simo kicks more ass on stage than Mike Tyson does in a boxing ring...

There is only one J. D. SIMO. As Kelley used to say, "Everybody we play is either dead, or ain't feelin too good." When I traveled to Nashville, I spent a lot of time at Robert's to hear the best band on Broadway. I read a while back Don Kelley retired. That's a big loss for the Nashville music scene. Jordan Peterson talked about the band on a podcast last week and that's what brought me here.

When I had the luck to play with the marble man, TIME WARP, it was a lot tamer than this. It was classic country back then. You could park on Broadway if you were lucky.

Another electrifying performance by America's greatest unknown guitar god, J.D. Simo! This kid was playing this good eight years ago when he was only 15! I was a regular at his local gigs in Phoenix and I can only hope and pray J.D. skyrockets to stardom and puts American Idol and talentless morons like Kenny Chesney anf Britney Spears out of business! ROCK ON SIMO!

That was pretty sick, especially considering the venue. Gotta give kudos to the band for chugging along with the boring rhythm while this guy shows off.

This band is awesome. Joe Fick is their bassist now and he makes the band. Daniel is no longer with them but they replaced him with a pretty darn good guitar player.

I think Simon Cowell's ass needs to fly out to Nashville and find out for himself what a REAL "American Idol" should be!! J.D. SIMO.....THE REAL DEAL!
@jameslawson57722 жыл бұрын
Out of all the guitar players that Don has had over the years I guarantee you that with J.D Simo in the band, they got way more money in the tip jar. Don has had players who were more proficient, technical, an overall “better” guitarist than J.D in his band, but no one has ever come close with stage presences. Simo is a great guitarist but a even better entertainer. People don’t come out to listen to music, they are there to see a show. So many bands would be more successful if they practice an rehearsed their show.

@wngman200 If he's changing Robert's, he's making a HUGE mistake. He should leave it just like it is or else he'll screw it all up.
