Yeah, they are the real deal-if a power trio can cut it live that says it all. Allison with her in-your-face guitar and killer tone makes it happen with Torry playing hard on her drums and the steady bass. The Pride of Palo Alto Calif.

Great no bullshit band. A female AC/DC as it were. I have seen them in large and small venues and they always sound great live. That's very refreshing. I would love to see them make a comeback.

@@jellieman1 they played a concert in Auckland New Zealand many years ago maybe 2005 and i had the pleasure of walking past the group in upper Queenstreet about a day before the concert and got verbally abused by them which was really cool

She actually sounds fairly good here, there's a performance of 'I don't Want to Know' on Ferguson from 2005 where she sounds much worse.

@@DerEchteBold I saw them live in 2005 and it's probably the worst band I've ever seen live. Everything sounded slower than it normally did, Brett would keep sitting down to play piano and you wouldn't be able to see her on stage. They ended their set with Take It Off and the place emptied before they could do an encore. Whether it was nerves, fatigue, a bad night, I don't know. Still love their records, though.

I don't want to be harsh on Brett, who was a fine studio vocalist, but I sometimes wonder what this band could have become with Torry out front. She had charisma and energy to last days, I get exhausted watching her play the drums.
