Honestly, and sincerely, really miss this band. The Donnas really should be talked talked about a lot more, and a lot more love thrown their way, even though they did call it quits, way back in 2012. If you ever got the opportunity to see them live back in the day, then you know exactly what I mean. They were awesome AF live! Also, Torry Castellano was a bada*s f**king drummer, and her name should be, and should have always been, thrown into the mix whenever anyone's talking about awesome drummers. Always hated when she left the band, back in 2009, due to her wrists. Always wondered what she did, or what became of her, afterwards, but seeing as how the band called it quits 3 years later, in 2012, I've always wondered what each of the other ladies ended up doing afterwards as well.

she plays a simple in the pocket kinda style like Nikki Sixx or Killer Kane from NY Dolls. in fact shes playing a Nikki Sixx Signature Thunderbird. this aint Geddy Lee music

One note bass lines? The simpler it is, the harder it hits. I think Johnny Cash said that. I'll take a nice fat, e-string, driving bass line that you can feel in your chest any day. Makes everything else jump out. So many bands have the kick drum, bass and rhythm all on the same frequency, and the details get lost in the wash.

LOVE the Donnas!!! Love the steadiness of the lead singers voice, though at times I wish it were a little stronger and pronounced, however on the same token it's nice not to have to listen to screaming the entire album. Always thought the lead looked like Christina Ricci.
