This song reminds me of my crush, who played this song while we were on our way to the school for a football game because we were in the marching band. She is only 11 months younger than me, and she played this song while we were driving almost a year ago. I'm a senior and she's a junior, and I'm about to graduate, but this song reminds me of her because of her desire to get away from here. I'll always love her and remember her because of this song that she gave to me by playing it in my car. It is now a part of me and this is one way that I will remember her for the rest of my life.

Saw this live on Saturday. The beginning was amazing because I don't even think he sang the "dadadadada" part, it was just 4000 people yelling it. and then LETS GOOO. I went to The House Party Tour mostly because All Time Low and Pierce The Veil are tied for my favorite band of all time, but ADTR's set was the most fun and energetic and I'm definitely more of a fan of them now.

I like all rock, I love soft rock, I love punk, I love hard, post hardcore, hard punk, metal punk, metal, metal core, easy core, and death metal, I love every type of rock, and I like edm, mostly trap and chill. I like only very few types of rap, underground raps sounds nice, but I hate listen to music that curses, or talks about drugs and sex or satan. I wouldn't listen to any song like that. I only hate fettywop type of rap, pop, brosetp (skill Rex type of dubstep, real dubstep is blank by disfigure) and I hate blackmetal, satanic metal.

Here's the problem: ADTR is obviously trying to sound metal but there pop-rocky verses cause them to fail at such endeavors, leaving them to be metal for people who don't like metal. That doesn't make their music bad, it's just a simple fact.

Seeing as you know absolutely nothing about me, I'm going to disregard the 90% of your comment that was just you pathetically flaming in the hopes of looking cool or strong or however you people want to be perceived these days. Anyways, do you know what drives me insane? When bands can't make up their minds about the sound they want to have within a song. I understand having ballads and harder stuff and stuff in between, that's cool, but seriously, pop-rocky vocals and metal background makes for a less than satisfactory performance. Certain things just aren't meant to go together. If you need an example, look up BabyMetal. Some things just don't work. Thirdly; I'm gonna guess you don't really know what originality is, you think you do, but I don't really believe that you understand what it is. The sound that ADTR has has all been done before, it's nothing original. Nothing really is original anymore these days. Even the greatest composers in the world weren't original all the time, they stole musical ideas from each other all the time, they used the same chord progressions and compositional structures, among other things. You see, originality is just about impossible in music. There are reasons music that sounds good sounds good, and there's reasons that music that sounds bad sounds bad. There are universal ways of creating music: I-IV-V-I chord progressions, ascending and descending scales and motifs, period structure, A-B-A form, etc, etc. Basically, ADTR isn't original because nobody else is original. Original is more or less impossible. However, some things are more original than others, but ADTR is not one of those things, it's been done before, and it will be done again. I like it but it's nothing original.

really like the intro but 0:14 made me cringe. It should have a dissonant or minor tonality instead of a major. This is definitely POP punk. This shit isn't metal. Not metalcore either. This is like, ughh, like glam metal. Sounds way too happy to associate it with punk or metal, but I think it fits right into the pop genre.

The screaming part is like them getting it all out. Everyone has to scream sometimes, and thats what that is. Its about experiences and stuff(unless I'm clueless), and he needed to scream, so I like it, because it is part of the song, ya know? :)
