I'm sorry I haven't uploaded anything in a while, school's been kicking my ass more than usual this semester. But I did manage to cough up an animatic for our final in film class, so here it is!!
I'm super happy with how this turned out. It was especially difficult to make considering I've only ever drawn to lyrical songs before, but once I heard this song, I knew what I wanted to do.
To summarize, this is fantasy AU KiriBaku in which Bakugou finds an injured dragon Kiri and takes care of him. I like the idea of this being how they met (though I'm pretty sure the light novels revealed that they accompany each other because Kirishima lost a fight to Bakugou and now serves him). The first version would've been the full length of the song, almost four minutes. In my original outline, I planned for that 'canon' fight to take place after Bakugou found Kirishima, and in that, Bakugou would overpower Kirishima due to Kiri's injuries. Bakugou would then tend to Kirishima's wounds, and to thank him, Kirishima would stay and be Bakugou's own dragon.
