I have been waiting for this moment since pretty much since season 2 as Soren and Claudia are foils of each other. Soren rejected his father's way of life while Claudia took it farther than even her father dared to go. Now we are really going to see Claudia go from the dorky, ditzy dark magic user to a vengeful, vindictive sorceress of wicked spite that not even Terrestrius will be able to stand for much longer.

@@Fenrisproit's not that he doesn't want to live it's just that he's done using dark magic. He did truly terrible things in order to save his family and at the end of it all. His family is still in danger and he's lost everything.

The saddest part about what Claudia is doing is the fact that there is no endgame. Even if she saves her father, then what? Almost everyone in the human world hates them both. Everyone in Xadia would probably have them killed on sight. What could they possibly do or where could they possibly go? Next, Claudia is so consumed by her Obsession that she can't even see happiness right in front of her. She could literally disappear with Terry and live happily ever after. Save for Rayla(who could be convinced otherwise) no one will go looking for her.

Rayla already deemed Claudia to be an irredeemable monster since season 1. Seems like her wish came true. However,yes, I agree that Claudia does need help in... certain things,aside from self-love. Part of me wonders if Claudia can just leave the continent altogether and just do her magic somewhere else. Plus, I don't think Terry's magic is dependent solely on being in Xadia since he was born with Earth Arcanum.

Claudia is a good character at first and yet she betrayed almost everyone. Not to mention that Claudia loves Terry, and still uses dark magic. I do have some questions: "will she ever walk again?" And "is she going to have vengeance for her father?"

I find it fascinating Claudia seems to have had more awareness of what dark magic was doing to her father than her own father did. She saw Viren’s demise in the first three seasons, leaving Soren behind, but her love for her dad enabled him only to destroy himself. Perhaps she’s so keen on bringing him back to life because she blames herself for not stopping him before dark magic killed him. She’s willing to risk her life just to keep her dad alive. I think she lacks self love, something Terry is intently reminding her of.

What's really tragic is if Claudia could stop and reflect she would realize she could raise a new family with Terry. He's an amazing guy. They could have a lot of kids or even raise a bunch of magical pets or open a school to teach magic. Anything else would be better for her besides this.

I used to hate Viren and like Claudia but with this season, this started to reverse. Viren might still be a jerk but at least he opened his eyes on what he has done. And now he is really questionning if his ressurection is worth it. While Claudia was all nice and funny but got further and further in evil "just for her father". Viren sees his mistakes while Claudia thinks that the end justify the means as we say.

Plus, in my honest opinion, we won't know how forgiving Ezran really is until Runaan is freed from the coin. If Ezran can forgive Runaan for killing Harrow, he can truly forgive anyone no matter what.

Despite her knowledge of Dark Magic, Claudia isn't really smart or clever as she believes herself to be. She's become single-minded in her quest in saving Viren that it made her blind to the fact that the answer in making the resurrection spell permanent was standing right in front of her and she didn't even know it because she was hell-bent on freeing Aaravos. Considering what she did up till now, I hold no sympathy for her. As the old saying goes, 'You reap what you sow' and she had paid the price for her actions.... BIG TIME.

I remember when the very first episode of this show rolled around and I started to watch this show for the first time, I remember feeling, "If Callum and Rayla don't end up together, and it's Callum and Claudia instead, I'm going to go nuts and I will be very upset!" I'm so glad that Callum ended up being with Rayla instead of Claudia, because that would have ruined the love that I have for this show otherwise...
