Күн бұрынThe Drift Masters series sees 45 drivers from 22 nations compete over 6 events in different countries for the ultimate prize in the game, the Drift Masters Championship. For 2024, the season kicked off in Valencia, Spain last weekend and we had our very own team on the grid. 16 year old Conor Falvey from Ireland and Ryusei Akiba from Japan would meet for the first time before joining team Drift Games for the season..
In this video, we go behind the scenes and show you just how harsh top level drifting can be at Drift Masters. When things go wrong, they go really wrong…

I honestly believe that those guys are the best and worst to drive against.. Best cos they will give everything 100% even helping you be in the race. Worst cos their 100% is pretty fing nuts.. 😂

this is eye-opening how brutal pro drift can be and the absolute army of people it takes busting their hump to keep these cars together, everything crossed for the next one at mondello!

That's most racing TBF. Especially at the level of international championships. Everyone is v good, everyone is pushing the limits as much as they can and stuff breaks all the time. Sometimes randomly even, with no changes and not even moving the car.

@@dzzope Yep, can confirm from growing up around open wheel racing while my dad was an engineer for a whole string of racing teams over a long period of time. Stuff happens. The thing that separates the wheat from the chaff is how a team pulls together and overcomes obstacles to success.

For 16yrs old Conor has a great attitude and outlook considering how the day unfolded! And Ryusei always seems so calm and chill............ The 2 of them together and the rest of the team have good chemistry!!! Keep up the good work everyone 👍🏻

Unreal. The team ethic is already set in stone. The community is with you even Jack and Conor coming over in the middle of their well publicised weekend of “issues”. Emotion, passion and friendship is a combination that never fails. See a group of people fighting for one individual goal, even when is not their own goal, always takes the best from human beings. The people involved in all this "experiment" (as Dave call it) really make me stay plugged to my little screen and, if usually i like DriftGames videos, i gonna follow Drift Masters from now on only to watch Connor and Ryusei succeed as they deserve.
