My most favorite intro of all time. People of all backgrounds united by their love of their city, and just having fun. My favorite part was always Mr. Wick being such a stickler for the literal second, but then ends up being, like, the second guy out of the door.

It’s also a nod to the many legendary, great, famous people, inventions & innovations that have come from Ohio (to many to list) i.e. the hotdog and stadium mustard also the fist pump, at 2:27 I believe, that Drew does, I feel is another nod to the Cleveland Brown’s dawg pound & legendary comedian/late night talk show host Arsenio Hall, also a Cleveland native. The genius of Drew Carey.

Long versions are what make life worth living. I remember when FM radio came into its own in the 1970s, and hearing the long versions of songs where I had only heard the "AM versions". It turned my world upside down - that, and "album hour" and late-late night FM radio shows. I long for those days.

@@tomprosser849 They beat the Steelers and not only beat them, they dominated the Steelers at home. Big Ben was crying like a little girl after that defeat. AND....AND.....AND They played a tight game with the Chiefs. Had we not been hit with that dirty helmet to the ribs hit at the end zone where the ball rolled through the end zone and was declared a safety, we might have even beat KC. I've even had Kansas City fans tell me that their team got away with murder on that play. So no, the Browns didn't get to the Superbowl this year. But to beat the Steelers at home the way they did. Many of my fellow Clevelanders declare that game as our personal Superbowl. The Browns and Steelers were arch rivals before Art Model moved the team to Baltimore. And in those days, it was always a good close game, no matter who the home team was, or how poor of a record either team had on the season. And back in those days, the Browns would almost always be in the playoffs, year after year. But this born again Browns team that rose from the dead in 1999 with a brand new stadium, has been an embarrassment. There was two good seasons out of 20, prior to this year's team. In 2002, we played the Steelers in the first round of the playoffs, and blew a 20 point lead to lose in the last two minutes of the game. We finished the season 9/7. And in 2007 we had a great offense and seemingly good quarterback. We finished the season 10/6. But missed the playoffs because of some tie breaker game with the Bengals.

It’s 2021, so it’s sad that a video of large groups of people with smiling faces enjoying each other’s existence looks so unusual.

I am a dude. I don't dance. I'm as musical as a human being can get, but I don't dance. Except..... I mean seriously. This is an unavoidably compelling energizing song. And yes. Every time it came on. The punctuated rhythms of that song are sheer genius. Just a brilliantly constructed song.

This show maybe wasn’t the most drop-dead, laugh-out-loud hilarious show ever, but it was original, and they took risks! I remember there was an episode they did live one night 4 TIMES for each time zone it was shown in. Or they’d have “find the error” episodes where you could write in and if you found the most things wrong with the show - background things like clocks upside or being digital when they’re usually analog, editing sound not matching up, different voices coming from different actors - you’d win a prize. You just don’t see that anymore. Nobody wants to take risks, they want to make money. Comedy is the poorer for it.

Good point about taking risks. The show “ Roc” on Fox did live shows aswell and it was an out of the box show.

I love how weird this show was. From the characters to the episodes where they had you figure out what was wrong with the scenes and the pop up video styled episodes. It was so refreshing and brilliant for sitcoms to do such stuff back then honestly It some ways, this was the predecessor to stuff like Community and the ilk that show bizarre and meta humor in their shows.
