He's only a single hair of Wukong and effectively human for this fight. He makes mistakes and gets hit, his strength and speed are clearly at a similar level to Jackie's. This is a fight between mortal men. We see later in the movie what the restored Sun Wukong is capable of. His abilities are not comparable to the Silent Monk at all.

The thing to remember is that at one point jackie really does hit jet and pisses him off . Jet then tries to kill Jackie but everything he tries Jackie counters . Jackie says when he hit him he seen he pissed him off and was just trying to stay alive . Jet says i come into this thinking jackie was fake when he hit he i got pissed and i was trying to hurt him and he was countering everything i throw at him i then realized he was real and started trying to see how good he was

@@seanwilson531 no I am saying that the fight went from fake to real because Jackie accidently hit jet for real because jet moved and Jackie couldn't stop or change the movement of the punch if you watch the sense you will see when it happens if I remember correctly it is just before jet kicks the staff out of Jackie's hands

@@robertlamb7513 Where'd you learn that information? I've looked around and can't find anything resembling what you said. All I found was that Jackie accidently hit Jet with his bag, injuring him a bit, and that this was one of the best experiences Jackie has had filming a fight scene in 10+ years. They were completely in sync and as Jet punched faster, Jackie blocked faster.

I mean, it coulda worked out. But the film was *actually* about the "white kid struggles in Fantasy Asia" story that dominates the plot, soaks up time, and ultimately... Does not really matter to solving the movie's story. Also, unlike "Hobbs and Shaw," these two don't have contractual obligations refusing to let them lose a fight on-screen, so there's actual weight to it. But hey. It was this or the Tekken live action flick.

I wanted something like Fist Of Legend/ Iron Monkey Yuen Woo-ping style choreography, Golden Harvest the real ones know what I mean. Not some chosen child bulls***, the only thing I know about the "star" of the show is that he looks like the same guy who played Goku
