Such a beautiful song and he sings it with such heart. I really related to this song. After 50 years of a beautiful marriage my Sweetheart passed on in 2016 and I soooo understand wishing he was here just to sleep beside me at night...I'm so weary of sleeping alone. Said way too much but this song really got to me.

marymacka mac sorry for your loss, my fathers been gone more than forty years, my mom is still with us but now and then I see the look on her face be it a wry smile from some warm memory of him but now and again the pain of all the lonely years. They say time is a great healer , I’m not sure about that I think that with the passage of time the pain of one loss become less acute, perhaps fading to a dull ache. in den 70er hatte ich das Vergnügen (nie vergessen oh wat ene nacht dat war, die kammen nach einem Konzert in unsere Kneipe vorbei, Junge wusste gar nicht das so viel Bier trinken möglich ist.
