Not in this woke climate. Should not be too much longer before a flag is no more than a flag. An American flag. Maybe not our modern America, but the flag is history. Lee was a famous general for the South. I love this show, I did as a kid and I do 20 years later!

That's one thing I liked about his character if he made a deal with a crook, and the crook was gonna kill someone like Bo, Luke, Daisy or Uncle Jesse then he would want no part of it and end up helping whoever was in trouble then put the crooks behind bars. He was quick to make a dollar or put the Dukes in jail or try to foreclose on their farm, but he had no tolerance to violence.

+Bandit Darville Exactly. One of my favorite episodes was Season 6 Episode 1. Lulu was kidnapped. And despite all their past conflicts, Boss Hogg, Rosco, Enos, and the Dukes all teamed up to rescue her. Also in S6, there was the memorable episode where jewel thieves were after Lulu and Daisy to kill them. And Boss and Rosco went through the agony (and danger) of dressing up like Lulu and Daisy to protect them.

+eternalhalloween1 Haha I remember both episodes! When they dressed up like Daisy and Lulu that was the most funny part of the episode maybe even the season! There's been more than one instance where they've all teamed up at one point or another, but its a downright shame that they don't air it on TV anymore all because of the innocent flag on the most famous car in the world. Thank God I've got all of the seasons.

+Bandit Darville I agree completely. But if it's any comfort, when they took the show off tv land, it backfired. Sales of the DVDs skyrocketed. There apparently are enough people who are fighting for this show. Until then, I'm sure we can make do with our dvds. And yet no matter how many atrocities isis performs, liberals keep trying to protect the koran. It makes you wonder.

+eternalhalloween1 Yes to tell you the truth as long as I have my DVDs of the Dukes then it doesn't bother me if they're not on TV. I just hate it for the people who don't have the DVDs or for the young generation coming up that can't watch it on TV. Basically what infuriates me is that they are trying to take our freedoms away bit by bit, and the nerve that they could say the Dukes of Hazzard was racist, or its wrong to watch it! I started watching it 11 years ago when it came on CMT, and I was about 9 or 10 at the time but ever since then that has been my all time favorite TV show. Now I'm 19 and have been watching it religiously again for the past 3 months.

That man in the white suit knew 7 languages and was highly respected in the TV world. The fact his character made you feel that way means he was doing his job. :)

It was, but this was also public television in the early 80s. The A team was pretty bad in that way too
