2023 was a wild year for the world and has been ESPECIALLY wild for online social media platforms. TikTok still reigns supreme as the most popular social media platform and that has caused many people to use dumb trends for views and attention. In this video, we'll be highlighting some of the DUMBEST TikTok trends of 2023...
In case you don't have a clue what TikTok is, my good buddy Wikipedia can get you up to speed real quick, "TikTok, deployed in China as Douyin (Chinese: 抖音; pinyin: Dǒuyīn), is a short-form video hosting service owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. It hosts user-submitted videos, which can range in duration from 3 seconds to 10 minutes.
TikTok is an entirely separate, internationalized version of Douyin, which was released in the Chinese market in September 2016. It launched in 2017 for iOS and Android in most markets outside of mainland China; however, it became available worldwide only after merging with another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018.
TikTok and Douyin have almost the same user interface but no access to each other's content. Their servers are each based in the market where the respective app is available. The two products are similar, but their features are not identical. Douyin includes an in-video search feature that can search by people's faces for more videos of them, along with other features such as buying, booking hotels, and making geo-tagged reviews.
Since their launches, TikTok and Douyin have gained global popularity. In October 2020, TikTok surpassed 2 billion mobile downloads worldwide. Morning Consult named TikTok the third-fastest growing brand of 2020, after Zoom and Peacock. Cloudflare ranked TikTok the most popular website of 2021, surpassing google.com.
Similar to Facebook and most other social media, TikTok has been subject to criticism over psychological effects such as addiction, as well as controversies regarding inappropriate content, misinformation, censorship, moderation, and user privacy."

I used to do mewing a long time ago when I was super insecure about my face, I think the reason people think it works is because they overall start taking better care for there appearance: eating healthy, washing face, working out, losing weight. They also might learn how to take more flattering photos. So for me when I look back at my old photos I don’t see a pre mewing me, I just see someone who had no idea that all you had to do to look good was to lose weight and take better pics lmao

As someone that work at Mcd's during june 2023. I hated the Grimace event. when I was working on the afternoon/night shift (school), I had to make 10 shakes. someone ordered 10 shakes of grimace. due to me making 10 shakes the ice cream machine broke after the 5-6th shake. the Grimace event was a pain in the ass.
