I would say 50/50. He definitely won if he kept pressing and since D.D responded to his plays he had nothing to lose trying to get a win. I don't understand what is the point of these mixed decks if you don't take advantage of the tools they give you, since the first NF dropped it had to be more moderate and focus on B.P

necroface is the worst. decked someone out but they had a necroface in hand still. summoned it, shuffled everything back, then i almost decked em out again like 8 cards left or so, and they beat me with elemental hero. lost to jaden yuki..

@@nosupper94 Necroface in E Hero sounds either unfathomably based to recycle stuff from Miracle Fusion or mali or like the hardest brick in the known galaxy.

His problem was when he had that much card advantage he didn’t stop using runicks and kept overextending. When your up in that much card advantage just make avermax and go for game. This is also the reason why I use live twins with my runick fur hire spright deck so I can always have reliable ways to go into non banish combos when playing against something like thunder dragons

Correction: it's a 60-CARD Thunder Dragon deck with Necroface. Dude was going full John Wick against Runick.

The endboard is literally fur hire folgo and their main combo is about drawing cards with folgo and fountain + having the fur hire negate on board, literally cry about it like... What else do you want? Play fur hire pure?

This deck is the only deck that can give you a possibility of so much card advantage that you can deck out

I play a very mediocre Thunder dragon / Runick deck. Very enjoyable without having to combo too much

Have you tried playing runick? It makes you legit feel like a spell caster throwing down spell cards 3-4 times a turn. It’s so fun, but miserable to face.

@@justinpennington6680 not really miserable to face unless your play a runick variant against nat runick. Then you better hope you don’t have 6 spells. To me stun was very stupid to face, but it becomes easier since runicks can always play through most floodgates, the only time you would lose to stun is when the just banish more than you do with allure. Runick variants are very fun to play with them having quick combo lines and almost always have a unique board that has minimal negates unless your play nat runick. Live twins runick spright focuses on gettin through tons of handtraps and getting gryphon on board, then when the board gets broken play through and remake your board, fur hire spright runick focuses on max card advantage, striker runick on using the card advantage from runick to add to the already good SS spell disruption. Ghoti runick on getting deep beyond out next turn and added disruption. So it depends on what variant your playing against but I like how each variant is different in its own way, and never feels repetitive, plus there easy to make if you have runick engine. I hate having to play stun or nat though so it depends.

It’s super fun to play but it does have a little higher skill cap since you need to know what to do when you don’t open Rex or if your playing against thunder dragon how to make your deck as strong as it needs to be with those match up odds. It’s very fun and the endboard is really simple with one monsters destruction that gains you card advantage. I would say play it if you like having to think about the best plays, and always try to get a win fast as you can, but it has a really good grind game. I’ve wanted to try plunder and SS runick since they seem fun to play are are relatively cheap. One tip for fur hire always have a copy of Kaijus or white woman(underworld goddess) since it’s good tower removal.

I mean it really isn’t that hard, when you realize it’s a thunder dragon player just stop using runicks and it works so much better. I was agythis one thunder dragon player and once I saw a thunder dragon go to banish zone I just stopped and played spright fur hire the rest of the game, since as long as you have a way to get to Rex you can play without banishing since you only need to summon. I would make up and avermax and then wait for my other engines like livetwins or spright cards to make gryphon, or any of my other boss monsters for game. The fur hire version is very fun, but I personally think it’s better to run another small engine to go into different plays when you stuck since you do get tons of card advantage.

@@Csthh switching out the rest of the runick cards for hand traps and a crossout (or 3 in the tcg) usually works for me. Also drawing into things like triple tactics talent is crazy.

@@BlakesGamez in the tcg it’s much easier to play these variants since there is a side deck, but in MD it’s better to run variants that can open EMZ a lot so you can still draw off fountain. For fur hire I would def just turbo a accesscode or avermax, even a appo would work really well to help you win instead of just drawing cards that thin the deck.
